Perhaps people get into fierce debates about God because they have a lot vested in his existence, and a large number of people believe in him. Unicorns are a fringe interest, and people who do believe in them don't have as much riding on them as many theists.

Folks who doubt the existence of demons are...DEMONICALLY POSSESSED!

When some people talk about God, some will usually nod in approval or dismiss it.
Jesus is God with a face, not the fill-in-the-blank variety we conform to our own tastes, you can't twist, distort or stuff it in your back pocket.
That sometimes bothers people.

No, no I don't. However, I do believe that demons do work their ''miracles'', to try to gather as many as possible from God's hands. So...are they possessed? No. Can they be influenced to see religions as man-made things? Yep.

Atheists are possessed by the demon of reason.

God isn't real! If he is then he's like a sadistic blend between saw and Kim Jong Ill only invisible and immortal. He knew satan was going to be evil yet created him and knew Adam and Eve would eat his stash but created the tree anyway then allowed a flood killing off 99% of all people and his way of love is knocking up a virgin to create a mortal version of himself to be tortured and killed for all to see. If he loved us and is all knowing and perfect, he wouldn't have bothered with all of that in the first place. Also because I question his authority and have free will to do so I will be tossed into the fiery depths of hell for his enjoyment. There is no proof and I doubt there will be proof he exists, god is only made up to explain what science hasn't proven yet and to keep people in fear and feel comfort at the same time also to control peoples will.

People in Iceland get into quite hot debates about the existence, or lack thereof, of fairies. The reason that we debate gods so much is because lots of people believe in them, and lots of people wish to drive social policy based on that belief.

I guess its fun to believe but sometimes there comes that time when the parents have to tell their kids there is no Santa Clause, Easter Bunny, Tooth fairy, Sandman, Jack Frost, or Boogeyman..

The only qualitative difference between Kim Jong Ill and the "God" you are referring to is;
What Kim Jong Ill says, everyone must follow.
Kimg Jong Illl determines everyone's future in North Korea
You cannot actively challenge Kim Jong Ill's position, otherwise, you'll be shot.

The "God" you are referring to accepts challenges and encourages scrutiny.

What God says, everyone must follow (because he is all powerful, created the world, forms us in our mother's wombs and sustains the world)
We cannot challenge God's position, otherwise, we'll go to hell. Besides, He knows we are going to challenge Him when He makes us.

That is a very bleak take on it.
Because Jesus died on the cross, we won't go to hell (That includes me and you)
He put down his life so you and I can have the conversation.
If you don't beleive in a "Hell" than it's a place where you'll be seperated from "God" if you will.





Yes you can, it's called free will.
God is not pointing a philosophical "Gun" in your face.



And that's where salvation and grace comes in.

The first sign of demonic possession is denial -that you're demonically possessed.



Everyone who is not demonically possessed just admits to it!

What if...what if I am so evil that the demon that tried to possess me ended up becoming possessed by me?...Or what if I am a demon and I dont know it?
