Shouldnt no longer be a problem. Since you joined NAFTA the ware productions rate of the USA have decreased so much, that instead of an ressources importeur, you are now an exporteur. Because you dont even have enough ware producion anymore to spend your own ressources.

We are broke, wealth has shifted to a very few, if the locals get mad we will have Ike's taxes, 95% top bracket. Perhaps a tax on assets.

I also think the military has been overworked and abused, Train then all you like but years in combat add up, and we have produced some stressed troops. Five combat tours should come with a few years of paid vacation. Now they get nothing for serving less than twenty years. Combat is overtime, with 50% paid after being discharged, we would have better citizens. Decompression Pay.
