You mean like nanotechnology, biotech research, genetic engineering, graphene processor research, high efficiency solar panels and a multirole fighter jet that does not need AWACS support that is fully capable of competing with the bug-ridden US F-35 that couldn't even pass the date line a few years ago without BSODing? I would like to say that that is a joke, but unfortunately, we have lots of problems keeping people here. Europe and US is a popular destination for inventors. Swedish companies are greedy f*****s who do not want to pay inventors anything, that also "helps".

Except in some countries like here in Sweden, universities are funded by taxes. All you have to pay for is living costs and litterature.
