If NT's were our slaves then ( as anyone who remembers the "Roots" miniseries knows) we would need some kind of term for them. Kinda like the N-word.

Lets call them "Knitters"( 'NT' combined with 'n****r').

We would have "house knitters" and "field knitters".

If a house knitter got uppity- you could just threaten to make them "a field knitter"- and that would shut 'em up!

Any true... any true... Funny, I didn't know that there was such a thing as a "true Aspie", considering that we are all on a spectrum and exhibit varying traits. Actually, having been on several NT boards, there's considerably less. One might suggest that those are Aspie-ish tendencies, considering our propensity for going on and on about what we want to talk about, our limited social skills, and our inherent tendency towards self-absorption. Just saying.

Actually, NT seems to do a pretty good job of branding non-autistics as "other".

What the OP is advocating would be quite fascinating just to see if it could work.

Would we be better able to function in society without having to change who we are if the majority of the populace had AS?

Could the world function if the majority of the populace had AS? Or is AS so pervasive a disorder that it's always a disability, and humanity needs to be majority neurotypical?

This is the question that the topic's creator should have had done. A starting point for discussion.

Personally, there's pros and cons on a Aspie ruled world. We see companies by Aspies and some are doing well(sure, there's always a mix of people - NT's and Aspies but I'm refering to companies with Aspie leadership and thinking). Aspies tend to do things their own way and there's always, unfortunately, that derogatory thinking from NT's when it comes to the Autism spectrum.
It could work, we don't know. I guess it has to do with society's acceptance.
The majority of Aspies defend meticulous actions for righteousness.
