Lies. Before the creation of the Israeli state, there was once a peaceful coexistence between arab and jewish Palestinians.
With the occasional sectarian massacres by Arabs pre-Israel, of course. But, hey, what's a pogrom or two between friends?
There's nothing lies about it. Listen to the genocidal rhetoric of Hamas, the Palestinian Authority, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, Iran, and much of Egypt's government. They make it crystal clear that they want to annihilate the Israeli state (and in Hamas's case, kill all Jews living there).
From the Hamas Charter, and I quote:
Hamas Charter wrote:
Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it, just as it obliterated others before it.
I would like to see a Palestinian people living in free, prosperous, open, genuinely democratic, liberal and tolerant societies - with equal rights between Muslims and non-Muslims, men and women, young and old.
I would like to see a Palestine in where Jewish communities prosper (how many Jews are allowed to live in PA-controlled Areas A and B in Judea and Samaria or Gaza? Both places where it's illegal for Israeli Jews to go for their own safety.)
I would like to see Palestinian people happy, with jobs, homes, peaceful lives, living in peace and in harmony with their Israeli neighbours.
I would like to see the Arab emnity towards Israel ending completely. I would like to see Israelis being as welcome in Arab countries as Arabs can be in Israel.
I would like to see the Israelis sharing their expertise with Arab countries, and by doing so, making the region a healthier, more prosperous, and freer place for everyone.
I would like to see Arabs coming to work, play and settle in Israel.
I would love to see Jews and Christians being able to settle in Saudi Arabia as full citizens and freedom of religion in every sense of the word.
I want to see freedom and independence and love for everyone.
The hate is imprisoning Palestinians and making them resentful and miserable, and it is harming Israelis too that have to live with the effects of it.
By the way, your map is a load of lies. For a start, the Palestinians didn't have any land of their own until 1993! The identity wasn't commonly in use until the mid-1960s (they were just Arabs before that time) and they have been colonised in one form or another by various powers in any case, and largely did not own their own land.
See
here for the reasons why this is so.
Can I ask you why Israel simply gave up the entire Sinai Peninsula (this had been taken from Egypt in the Six-Day War) to Egypt in 1979? That land was extremely rich and would have made the Israelis unbelievably wealthy - it was rich in natural resources! - had they not signed it back to Egypt in exchange for peace.
Oh, and George "I don't debate Israelis" Galloway and all round lover of Hamas and Islamic jihadism and dodgy Islamic dictators around the world? Seriously?!
Ilian Pappe has been shown to lie about historical facts before for political reasons (he falsified and used prominently a 'quote' purportedly said by David Ben-Gurion in 1937 which his sources don't back up). Benny Morris
excoriated Pappe last year, saying that "at best, Ilan Pappe must be one of the world’s sloppiest historians; at worst, one of the most dishonest. In truth, he probably merits a place somewhere between the two."
I'm surprised you don't bring up Shlomo Sand, Richard Silverstein, Gilad Atzmon, Israel Shamir, Roger Garaudy and all the other fruitcakes.
