Though I think a lack of heirarchy would work even if people had different skills/abilities while lacking others, but so long as someone wants more than the next person just so they can be superior it wont happen and good luck with all humans getting rid of their addiction for power and material things.

I'm all for the government providing services to help those in need of help. But I'm certainly not for uncountable, unelected puppet masters on Wall Street pulling strings from the shadows for their own benefit, and our detriment.

I would say so, I hate the way the current government works. Also I would prefer a classless society, but since that is unlikely because as many wont fail to point out is people are mean and greedy...I would at the very least like a more accountable goverment that actually works for the people not just the ones with ridiculous amounts of money.

As long as some people are smarter than others, stronger than others, more ambitious than others, more focused than others there will be a hierarchy of accomplishment with some kind of status to go with it. A classless society is a society of equalized mediocrities.

Communists don't wish everyone or think everyone has the same abilities, hence the statement; "From each according to his ability, to each according to his need."

And people who use "natural rights" as a justification for social hierarchy are nonsensical. Natural rights are not like laws of physics to be discovered, they are constructs used to justify hierarchy in under which any rational set of criteria could not be justified.

The power hungry are obtaining power because we are letting them. When the majority gain the knowledge and confidence to reject unjustified authority, we have a revolution and if that trend continues we have anarchy. A power hungry minority wouldn't take power as long as the majority can identify their attempts at deception and rule.

Our abilities are limited and our needs are infinite. Unless you propose appointing a Need Komissar, that Marxist slogan will create dead-beat-ocracy in which ever pablum puking incompetent will claim those with ability should serve there ever so large need.

If you don't wish to share your talent with others, you are allowed to do so. To force you would violate your need for self direction. People would enjoy doing the things they enjoy doing rather then renting themselves out and grinding for a boss. To me doing something great with self direction and sharing the result, is much more satisfying than taking orders from a despot.

I don't think anarchy would work very well on a large scale, but it could be made easier to abolish hierarchies that the majority of people are dissatisfied with. There should be an international law that provides the right to secede or abolish the government by popular vote, without interference from the government. The same could be done for big corporations. If the majority of people that work for a big corporation are dissatisfied with it, then they could have the right to remove the people at the head of the corporation. With these rights in place, the people at the top of hierarchies would be forced to satisfy the people lower down, or face being abolished by them.

So if someone is smart enough to invent something why should I not benefit from it?

You can. Pay the man who invented it for a copy of it or access to it.

The right to secede by popular vote, eh? So, the techno-libertarian towns that I've founded will be allowed to get away from the meddling influence of the communists who want our stuff? I can work with that...

Can we take the land around us as well, since no-one else is using it?

Saying that, I'll just secede my house from everyone, and sign a free trade and open borders policy with my neighbours.

Typical of the left, money only counts when it's going to them.
