I was in Hollywood a couple days ago, the building on Hollywood Blvdis still empty, it been like this for years. Most of there buildings and are more liabilities than assets because of there age and advanced state of decay. This is purely a speculation of mine, I would not be shocked if Scientology is actually very close to bankruptcy.

There total numbers of members had dropped to 25,000 in 2008, probably even lower now.

one way i could think of breaking in is through the game industry.

Game developers are constantly on the lookout for inexpensive voice talent.

On the Scientology ship called Freewinds, I was surprised to find out they also drug people into submission. There are a ton of crazy Freewinds stories which would literally be on par with Stalin's gulags.

There is so many crazy stories you could make a heck of a super scary movie on this. It's time for someone in film making to step up to the plate. I am sure who ever was making the movie would be looking for actors to play many parts.

So here is what you can do, contact The Angrey Gay Pope propose the idea of making a movie (non documentary) exposing Scientology and to include yourself in some acting role. Use Kickstarter for money. If you have a good plan to make a movie like this you will have no shortage of people willing give money, a lot of people truly hate the evil Scientology does. This would be a way to use Scientology to break into movies albeit not quite in the way the op had in mind.

Except that he was too jacked in politically/socially speaking for it to be JUST that. For most people, and particularly someone who'd have been that close with Parsons and Cameron, had a little more to him than just wanting to take everyone's money and run. In particular Jack Parsons thought pretty highly of him and even bragged to Crowley about him

Scientology has always given me the impression it's someone's twisted science fiction fantasy gone way too far.

Scientology is a criminal money making mind control mafia masquerading as a religion-hense the obvious need to brainwash, and blackmail, the members.

Its a pretty labor intensive and impractical way to make money if that's your only aim.

There are plenty of troubled people in the world who are ripe for exploiting by a group that pretends to be both scientific AND religous- with a brand name like "scientology".

Also- the fact that scientology is 'a cult' doesnt mean it has anything to with 'the occult". I dont even understand why you equate the two things. Hubbard did concoct some sci-fi theology for the creed, but that was all an afterthought. And scientology did not even pretend to be an occult type religion ( with communication with spirits-and that kind of thing).

I had a feeling I dropped the ball in responding to one of your posts. Suppose that's a shame on me.

One time I checked out a copy of Dianetics from the library. My friend wanted to belt me one big time for that.

A friend of mine decided to try researching it and trying to understand what people were doing with it. He sat there at length and tried to explain how people were climing something like three rungs from -2 to -1 to 0 and to the degree he was going in depth I got a little bit worried but he assured me it was just the degree of weirdness and his trying to figure out why anyone would believe it that lead him to research it. He was actually a bit impressed by L Ron Hubbard in that he seemed to live a pretty active life, mentioned something about sailing which he also has a lot of interest in.
