Why do we still have Palestinian refugees?
“There are no differences between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. We are all part of one nation. It is only for political reasons that we carefully underline our Palestinian identity… yes, the existence of a separate Palestinian identity serves only tactical purposes. The founding of a Palestinian state is a new tool in the continuing battle against Israel”
. Zuhair Muhsin, military commander of the PLO and member of the PLO Executive Council
“Never forget this one point: There is no such thing as a Palestinian people, there is no Palestinian entity, there is only Syria. You are an integral part of the Syrian people, Palestine is an integral part of Syria. Therefore it is we, the Syrian authorities, who are the true representatives of the Palestinian people”.
Syrian dictator Hafez Assad to the PLO leader Yasser Arafat
The biggest lie of all. Many Arabs identify their origins by their family names. Here are some of the most common family names among the "Palestinians":
"Masri" = from Egypt-Hamas member of Parliament, Mushir al-Masri (the word "masri" littelery means "the egyptian" in arabic !).
"Khamis"= Bahrain "Salem Hanna Khamis" "al-Faruqi"= Mosul, Iraq
"al-Araj" = Morocco, a member of the Saadi Dynasty "Hussein al-Araj"
"al Lubnani" = the Lebanese
"al-Mughrabi" = the Moroccan (Maghreb" – meaning "West" in Arabic, and usually referring to North Africa or specifically to Morocco)
"al-Djazair" = the Algerian
"al-Yamani" = the Yemeni "Issam Al Yamani"
"al-Afghani" = the Afghan
"al-Hindi" = the Indian "Amin al-Hindi"
"Iraqi" = from Iraq.
"halabi" = from Aleppo, Syria
"El Baghdadi" = from Baghdad Iraq.
"Tarabulsi"= Tarabulus-Tripoli, Lebanon.
"Hourani" = Houran Syria.
"al-Husayni" = Saudi Arabia.
"Saudi" = Saudi Arabia.
"Metzarwah"= Egypt.
"Barda---wil" = "Salah Bardawil" HAMAS legislator in Gaza; Egypt, Bardawil Lake area.
"Nashashibi" = Syria.
"Bushnak" = Bosnia
"zoabi"= from Iraq: "Haneen Zoabi".
"Turki" = Turkey "Daud Turki"
"al-Kurd" = Kurdistan.
"Haddadins" = YEMEN descended from Ghassanid Christian Arabs.
"Arab Abu-Kishk" = Egypt.(Bedouins)
"Arab al shakirat" = Egypt (Bedouins)
"Arab al zabidat" = Egypt (Bedouins)
"Arab al aramsha" = Egypt (Bedouins)
"Abu Sitta" = In Arabic' Abu means father and sitta means six. Translated it actually means father of six. (The Abu Sitta family primarily received this name because around the year 1700, a well known knight of the large Al-Tarabeen tribe always had six slaves (i.e. fedawyah, bodyguards), 3 on each side, with him. They were with him wherever he went, day or night. Hence the name "ABU SITTA." = Egypt (Bedouins) "Salman Abu Sitta ".)
Even Yasser Arafat, the most famous "Palestinian" and leader of the P.L.O terrorist organization, was not native to Judea. He called himself a "Palestinian refugee" but spoke Arabic with an Egyptian accent. He was born in 1929 Cairo, Egypt. He served in the Egyptian army, studied in the University of Cairo, and lived in Cairo until 1956! His full name was Mohammed Abdel Rahman Abdel Raouf Arafat al-Qudwa al-Husseini. "Al-Qudwa" tribe origin?
Yasser Arafat also proudly stated in his authorized biography that, "If there is any such thing as a Palestinian people, it is I, Yasser Arafat, who created them."
Arabs are NOT native to Palestine.

Statehood, or lack of, does not legitimise the systematic dispersal and genocide of an indigenous population.
Were that the case it would absolve the oppressors of jewish victims.
It's a strange kind of genocide when the Palestinian population is actually increasing faster than the Israeli population. You must have a weird definition of genocide, different from the definition that everybody else uses.
its a textbook form of genocide when the land claimed by said Palestinians is a fragment of what it was, and is still shrinking every year with encroaching abuses that force more and more to leave their homelands.
No it's not. The definition of genocide is the systematic killing or destruction of an entire racial, cultural or ethnic group with the intent of destroying destroying the group. The Palestinians are not being systematically destroyed or killed in order to wipe them out and in fact they breed like rabbits and there are far more palestinians than there were in 1948. Therefore it is not genocide by definition.
"The Palestinian people does not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity"
Then there was also this:

Here is a Ahmed el-Tayeb, a well-known and prominent Sunni cleric in Egypt, speaking on primetime TV on Egypt's main public broadcasting channel, ERTU's Channel 1.
el-Tayeb is the President of Al-Azhar University (one of Egypt's main universities) and the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar (a highly respected official title in Egyptian politics) and was a close associate of Hosni Mubarak. He is considered amongst the most moderate of all mainstream Sunni clerics in Egypt.
This is an historical perspective, which has not changed to this day. See how we suffer today from global Zionism and Judaism, whereas our peaceful coexistence with the Christians has withstood the test of history. Since the inception of Islam 1,400 years ago, we have been suffering from Jewish and Zionist interference in Muslim affairs. This is a cause of great distress for the Muslims.
The Koran said it and history has proven it: "You shall find the strongest among men in enmity to the believers to be the Jews and the polytheists." This is the first part. The second part is: "You shall find the closest in love to the believers to be those who say: 'We are Christians'." The third part explains why the Christians are "the closest in love to the believers," while the Jews and the polytheists are the exact opposite.
[...]
[The Christians] are humble and are not arrogant.
Interviewer: They are not condescending, whereas the Jews say they are the Chosen People.
Ahmad Al-Tayeb: Right, they do not say that they are the Chosen People... That is why the Jewish religion is closed to others. They have no proselytism. They consider themselves to be the best creation, the Chosen People.
Interviewer: They consider everybody else to be inferior to them...
Ahmad Al-Tayeb: Extremely inferior. They even have very peculiar laws. For instance, they are allowed to practice usury with non-Jews. Some things are not allowed among Jews, but are allowed between Jews and non-Jews. They practice a terrible hierarchy, and they are not ashamed to admit it, because it is written in the Torah – with regard to killing, enslavement, and so on.
Therefore, they have generated a problem not only in their relations with the Muslims, but in their relations with all other people as well, and history has been clear on this.
Interviewer: There is even great enmity between them and the Christians.
Ahmad Al-Tayeb: Of course. These practices and beliefs have made people, even non-Muslims, hate them.
This man and others like him are completely mainstream and highly respected public figures in Egyptian society. Interviews like this air all the time, and the interviewers are completely unquestioned on what would be considered neo-Nazi beliefs in the West.
But still, they're brown people. They don't know any better.
Also - some here might get a serious boner to this. I think they should go to their bunks afterwards:

No, it's a very, very, very slow genocide. That produces completely and utterly opposite effects to every other genocide. And where the people under the 'genocide' have more to fear from their own than they do from any 'oppressor'.
Take the word genocide and invert the meaning and that's what you have.

Well if you look at this youtube, it says there is no such thing as a palestinan refugee. Most of them are just made up. I mean Israel is actually trying to help the Palestinian people and give them a fair deal.
I have to admit Tequila, GGPViper etc are right, I'm wrong on this issue.

Insisting that the political leaders of a group of people represent the feelings of every single person is, though. Especially when the elections are probably rigged anyway. I'm willing to bet a lot of people in Gaza just want to be able to live and support the people they love without being killed by anyone. Pretending that the PLO represents every single man, woman, and child for political convenience ignores that. In order to even pretend to believe that, you'd need to believe that Israel (or any of its allies for that matter) have any respect for the rule of law. Protip: They really don't.
What about the Biblical commandment to the 12 tribes of Israel that they must only ever live in their own designated portion of the promised land?
Are the Jews just looking after the other 11 portions for the children of Dan, Reuben, Naphtali etc etc? ready for the Biblical regathering of Israel?, what will they do when they arrive?, kick the Jews out?
Introducing Scripture into the picture is dangerous thinking in my opinion. The last thing we need is to misuse Scripture to justify the oppression of either side.
That sure is a lot of dehumanizing and other-ing for someone who claims to be a Humanist.

so can you explain why NOBODY was calling for a Palestinian state when Gaza was part of Egypt and the West Bank part of Jordan? can you fin ONE Arab during the same period called himself or herself Palestinian?

Palaestina was a name given to the region a looooong time ago. But none of this actually matters. Somebody can say they're Bozo of Clownistan, but that doesn't make it acceptable for you to force them out of their homes at gunpoint, use armored bulldozers to tear it down, and build condos on territory that was never designated as yours in the first place.

Wrong! When a nation wins a war by defeating those who attacked it -first- they automatically get the land that used to belong to their attackers. In a war there are Winners and there are Looser. The Palestinians and their Arabic speaking buddies have lost 3 wars (which they started, by the way) against the Israelis. Why won't those "damned Jews" loose like they are supposed to?
Israel is the only nation on earth that has to sue for peace after it has -won- a war.

What you're describing is imperialism. It's an ideology, not an axiom. And frankly, it's an ideology that has brought about the worst human rights abuses in history. Your description of it isn't even accurate. The victor of any given conflict has the leverage to set the terms of surrender. They don't necessarily move in and set up shop, because occupation is an expensive undertaking that requires you to be vigilant against partisans for the entire length of your presence. It's far better to use the economic leverage you have as a victorious party to prohibit the construction of military instruments and promote the other sectors of the economy. Japan and Germany are what they are today because we chose not to raze them to the ground and build "America 2: Electric Boogaloo". Also because the Soviet Union wasn't doing so hot, but I digress.
As for the wars, gee wizz, people were upset over seeing their allies violently displaced by British imperialism? And they decided to retaliate!? Wow, who could have seen that coming? Don't they know that when a massive empire with a long history of genocide takes away their land and displaces them they're supposed to smile and go live in their refugee camps? Gosh, I just don't know why anyone would be upset!
And please don't lower the level of discourse by equating criticism of Israel with Antisemitism.

imperialism is not defending your self against several nations trying to destroying you and keeping lands they occupied previously

Allies? Seriously? Are you studying for a degree in historical revisionism? In that case, you just earned a straight A average.
- Jordan robbed the Palestinians of any statehood of their own by annexing the land set aside for the Palestinians in the British Mandate.
- Arafat and the PLO were kicked out of both Jordan and Lebanon and thousands of Palestinians were killed in the process. Furthermore, both Jordan and Lebanon have been systematically harassing Palestinians (by withholding/revoking citizenship and restricting access to jobs).
- The Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood turned Gaza into an oppressive Taliban city-state through their proxy Hamas.
Everyone who has even a rudimentary knowledge about Islam knows very well that the animosity towards Israel from the surrounding Arab states has nothing to do with the plight of the Palestinians. Islam is Anti-Semitic at its core.
