Killing Hitler

What if Hitler died in WWI. Goebbels said in the early 1920's Germany needed a leader like Hitler. What if his replacement was Jewish? All those Jewish scientist would have never came to America. What would have happened?

Germany and much of Europe at the time were virulently antisemitic at the time, this did not begin with Hitler he just took advantage of it. Many Germans did not believe that their army lost WWI but were betrayed on the homefront by Jews, Communists, Socialists, republicans, bankers, unions, etc. The terms of the Versailles Treaty made Germany a powder keg, the Weimar Republic was never going to work. If Hitler died in WWI, the anger that brought the Nazis to power still would of existed.

This is a good point. I know for a fact that WWI and WWII were largely engineered to happen by powers that WANTED a war for the purpose of being able to make money. This has happened before WWI and after WWII.

Indeed, Hitler had massive support within the USA and Europe UNTIL he started exterminating the Jews. That's when PUBLIC support for him dried up. So, most of the free world empowered Hitler to become the monster he became.

All that's needed is the opportunity. Killing Hitler might have just meant another person would have taken his place, and the outcome would be difficult to question.



Same fundamental time-travel conundrum.

If Hitler were not around, somebody else would have been the figurehead of the National Socialist Party.

There would be no point in time travel unless we could get millions of people to agree to pass as German citizens..... Just enough to create a massive cultural change. Just massive enough to keep the National Socialists permanently out of public favor. But that's just wishful thinking.

For sure.


Everybody stays happy this way...Or how about people remain conscious of themselves and their surroundings and their fellow cosmic citizens and no bullsh!t need occur
