So you think Objectivists are obliged to feel contempt and hatred for Galt et al. for the large portion of the book where they are poor, and only find them admirable when they achieve material success?
And I noticed you didn't answer my question ....
That's the impression I get from the most vocal libertarians.
And what question didn't I answer? I admit sometimes I focus on a side issue, rather than the main point of an argument.

You've been upgraded, as these things have been explained to you ad nauseam now, and yet you persist in making these ignorant statements at every opportunity. I won't venture into whether it's driven by malice or something else (yet).

So which is the worse of the two, libertarians or conservatives?
Gotta pick one over the other.
Inquiring minds want to know.

As I have yet to meet a liberal libertarian, I have to assume they tend to be on the conservative end of the spectrum - though admittedly, the fact that real libertarians support gay marriage might make them anathema to more religious conservatives.

You can explain till you're blue in the face, but I'm still going to hold to my views as I believe they're right.

But which is the greater evil of the two from a liberal standpoint, conservatism or libertarianism?
You know that I know that you have an answer in mind.

Okaaay...
You know, there is a word for people who refuse to change their views in light of contradicting facts, and it's not a flattering one.

The conservatives are worse. They favor the State. The libertarians regard the State as a necessary evil, not a good thing.

This conservative and most others I know of only favor the state as it applies to certain matters (i.e. big on defense and international presence but small on internal regulation, policing, and interference).
Still patiently waiting on Kraichgauer's input........

Sorry, I was away from the computer for a while, and am going to be returning to WWE wrestling as soon as I can.
But who's worse? I suppose it depends on the person, to be quite honest. I know a libertarian at my church who I am quite friendly with. He doesn't believe in evolution, is maybe too pro-business, but is against corporatism, and supports gay rights, so he and I get on. But then, there are clearly far right wing conservative libertarians like that devil in the flesh, Ted Cruz, who has made it his life's mission to vindictively quash the needy at every turn. Conservatives on the other hand can mean anything from McCain who used to be every Democrat's favorite Republican, to purposefully ignorant inbreeders like Louie Gomert. I guess I just proved that things aren't quite as black and white as my posts might somehow imply.

With nearly 16,000 posts in less than 4 years I'm surprised you ever leave the computer.
WWE??! ! And some people think NASCAR is ret*d.

Not what I was hoping for; an emotional damnation of one or the other.

Sure, pro-wrestling is brainless fun - fans know enough not to take it too seriously, unlike NASCAR fans do.
And emotion is sometimes all you've got - even Aspies.
