Since the topic is Immigrants, some of you might be interested in this article on Asylum Fraud by Chinese immigrants in the USA

I think that most of us are more happy than not about Chinese immigrants: at least the stereotype is that they work hard, start businesses, their children do well in school and become professionals, don't get involved in violent crime, etc. etc. The complete opposite of what was mentioned about East European immigrants in the opening post.

In trying to expedite the move, though, lying to our immigration authorities can be a dangerous move.

I never said Eastern European immigrants were criminals. That horrible man I spoke to did.

I don't think there was any need to make out a big disinterest due to an obvious misunderstanding. Or to be made out that I couldn't see the woods for the trees. You were both out of order.
