I'm sure you know to vote No 1 Henry Reilly on May 22nd.

What exactly is your interest in Northern Ireland? Historically UKIP did not bother with Northern Ireland or getting involved with its twisted and shadowy politics. Time will tell whether they become serious players but which sections of society do you think that you will win support from? Take into account that the Conservatives stuck their fingers into Northern Ireland during the 1990s but did quite badly after the 1992 general election. Their attempted merger with the UUP also ended in failure. Does UKIP see itself as the future replacement for the UUP now that it's at a low spot?

but given the narrow and biased political vocabulary inside Northern Ireland I am not left with many credible alternatives. For example while we have tory candidates there is no established Labour or Liberal Democrat party here.
Do Ulster folk want the mainland parties or are they general happy and content with their own parties? Read above about the Conservatives. There were attempts to establish Northern Ireland Labour parties but election results were quite poor. What would your reaction be if DUP decided to move into the mainland and started getting MPs elected?
