Yes because agreeing with some points that he made means i regard him as some sort of political messiah.

I know Galloway is a fruitcake and a loose cannon but on some issues he hits the nail on the head. Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

Having worked in sales and distribution i can tell you those posters don't make a damn difference. Anyone who is going to deliver the sort of material it is intended to prevent is going to anyway.

Also T, I notice you have been increasingly truculent over my personal affiliation with the green party. The greens wouldnt conventionally be my first party of choice, but given the narrow and biased political vocabulary inside Northern Ireland I am not left with many credible alternatives. For example while we have tory candidates there is no established Labour or Liberal Democrat party here.

As for the UKIP candidate he is wasting his time here. The right of centre vote is divided so much by the likes of the DUP, tories, UUP and TUV I don't rate his chances much. Not that i would touch them with a five foot barge pole anyway. NI needs their brand of politics like a hole in the head.

What exactly is your interest in Northern Ireland? Historically UKIP did not bother with Northern Ireland or getting involved with its twisted and shadowy politics. Time will tell whether they become serious players but which sections of society do you think that you will win support from? Take into account that the Conservatives stuck their fingers into Northern Ireland during the 1990s but did quite badly after the 1992 general election. Their attempted merger with the UUP also ended in failure. Does UKIP see itself as the future replacement for the UUP now that it's at a low spot?

Do Ulster folk want the mainland parties or are they general happy and content with their own parties? Read above about the Conservatives. There were attempts to establish Northern Ireland Labour parties but election results were quite poor. What would your reaction be if DUP decided to move into the mainland and started getting MPs elected?
