Which president was better, Bush or Obama
So it's all about race, then?
Back to the Herman Cain question: By your own logic, if you would have voted against him for any white man it could only be for reasons of racism. We can go round and round with this for page after page. You paint all conservatives as racists and because of that you cannot see objectively.
I've said it more times than I can count - - I do not believe every Republican is a racist. But the simple fact is, racists have led the Anti-Obama charge, particularly with the tea party and birthers. Their racial prejudice is undeniable by their own statements and motivations. Show me where Democratic opposition to Herman Cain ever made any racist statements against him.
Yes, yes, I know Democrats have called the pizza man an Uncle Tom. When have I ever said that the pizza man was an Uncle Tom? I only called him hardhearted and stupid, same as any other right wing Republican.
Bolded for you, unless you're going to re-define democratic opposition to suit your own needs.
And if I called Barack Obama hardheaded and stupid, same as any other left wing democrat you'd scream RACISM!!

By the way, you might be interested in knowing that Limbaugh and other hate radio talkers called black Democrats who had voted for Cochran over McDaniel were "Uncle Toms." I know fatty and his ilk are racists, but are you willing to concede that they are?

/\ Actually, I don't give a s**t one way or the other if Limbaugh called anyone an Uncle Tom. I'm not even going to bother to verify what he said but I wouldn't put it past him. It's apparent that you and the other liberals are the true Limbaugh fans since you know everything he says. I have heard some of his sermons (thats what they remind me of) and of those I can't say that I disagree with anything he said in those sermons. Same for Beck and Hannity but then again I can usually find more entertaining things to do than listen to conservaive talk show entities preaching to the choir.
I am a conservative and became one at an early age from the results of my own observations and the values and beliefs I formed then. I cannot be made more conservative by listening to anyone preaching to me.
Now getting back to Limbaugh's alleged uncle Tom comments, it gets back to what I've said before; Limbaugh, as a conservative, has not built a platform out of of equal rights like the liberals have. Therefor there is really no hypocrisy there. I won't condone it but at the same time I can't call him a hypocrite for it. For a liberal to screech incessantly about equal rights and racism then use a racist term like Uncle Tom against a black person that doesn't play their rules IS hypocrisy plain and simple.
Now, if one of those talk show conservatives knocked up a chick out of wedlock and insisted on an abortion to protect their image, THAT would be hypocritical of them since they, as conservatives, have built a good part of their platform out of the pro-life stand and family values.
I hope I've illustrated that well enough.

What is conceivably wrong with equal rights?
In response, conservatives in fact claim they support equal rights for everyone, even though their own record - and words - say otherwise. And yes, Limbaugh did in fact say that. I heard that Uncle Tom line from him on, I believe, the Daily Kos.
And by there way, there was homophobic Idaho Republican senator Larry Craig who got caught trying to pick up an undercover police officer in a mens restroom. And that family values Republican in Louisiana who was caught soliciting prostitutes. That hypocritical enough for you?

If the left is waging class warfare, it's only because the right had instigated that war with anti-labor policies, and cutting benefits, and tax cuts for the rich who hardly need them at the expense of everyone else.

/\ then why is it that most of the working non-rich people I've ever known more conservative leaning? Are U going to tell me they are all stupid or have just been beguiled by Fox News?

Traditionally, the working class has been more conservative than liberal on many issues, save labor rights, and I dare say tax cuts for the rich. I know of what I speak, as I was raised in a working class family. It just comes with the sub culture. But then there is also the matter of region of the country. Working people in the Pacific Northwest would probably be much less conservative than their counterparts in the South or Southwest. But there are always exceptions to this rule.
