All right...all right...don't get hot under the collar!

You were kidding with her about her use of "egg." I just defended her right to do that.

Perhaps I reacted a tad too seriously.

We have serious discussions. And there's much use for serious discussions. Otherwise, we would not advance as a species. There's always room for disagreement--otherwise, the discussion would be false.

Then again....Sometimes, we just like to have a little fun, too! Lighten up the mood a bit. The world isn't coming to an end just yet.

As did Kiekegard when he invented Eggsistentialism.

And Karl Marx when he said "You have nothing to loose but your yolks!".

And Shakespeare when he wrote the play "Omelette".

And the dieting soliloquy.. "Tubby or not tubby, that is the question."

Ok.. follow-up question.

If someone habitually makes subjective assumptions, while decrying subjective assumptions, how credible is this person's arguments regarding science?
You can be as specific as you like... I'm not made of glass or eggshells. Dodging the issue is not making a point.

I'm sure your mind isn't that scrambled. Let's take it over easy! And emerge with our Sunny Side up.

We're having a bit of fun, not dodging anything. Will we find the way to World Peace through out little discussion? Heck no!

But what is science to you? You have gone on at great length at what you think science isn't (using assumptions as a starting point for investigation, for example). But what do you think science is? What, to you, is an example of science done correctly?
My idea of science is not sufficiently different to yours to be bothered disputing... as you would have deduced had you read my previous posts.

I love real science, but I deplore upside down nonscience.

I was going to join in the fun once I caught up with the nonscience.

I think Narrator is the only one around here who thinks enough about the issues to come up with a half decent diversion.

Kierkegaard and Marx are eggcellent eggsamples of merry, berry, werry poor thinking based on nonsense premises plucked out of thin air.

The eggsamples are what Shakespeare used to make his Omlette.

I think I'll leave this egg to simmer a little longer.
Similar to making tea... you need to let it draw a little.
...So much impatience these days...

It could imply the opposite, in fact.
