That's how we are with our daughter. She plays with action figures and dinosaurs, but also with Barbies, and we have absolutely no problem with that.

A co-worker at the place I worked before becoming disabled had a young daughter who was a big fan of Spiderman and also was very interested in engineering. I was very heartened to find that her mother was being very encouraging to her daughter in engaging in these activities!

Nothing wrong with a girl being a tomboy. On the other hand, a boy playing with dolls is a bully target not to mention just plain disturbing....

Your finding of the boy being disturbing is your problem, not the boy's. That the bullies target the boy for that is their fault and they should pay the consequences for it.

Personally, I would not find such a boy disturbing and would encourage him to pursue what interests him.

My daughter absolutely loves superheroes - but so does my wife (and me, for that matter), so that explains that.

This is what I CAN do to homophobes..;)

in REAL LIFE OF COURSE..

LOVE YA MAN..;)

930LBS OF KICK ASS BABY.. with a serving of "Four Five seconds from WILDIN' "

BULLIES DON'T STAND A CHANCE WITH ME IN REAL LIFE..

THEY scurry away with their 'tales' stuck between their legs..

Particularly homophobes.....

IN my EXPERIENCE THE ONLY REASON MALES ARE HOMOPHOBES is that they are afraid they themselves are actually gay.. and don't want to step out of the closet...

Otherwise there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO EITHER WORRY ABOUT OR BULLY FEMININE ACTING MALES ABOUT....

AND I HAVE NO PROBLEMS TELLING them that to their face if I see them doing the bullying thing...

All I have to do, if they DON'T LISTEN is show 'em this video, and MY 'BRUCE LEE STYLE' enLIGHTening FAST MOVES.. powered by kick ass legs..;)

That's kind of tongueIN-CHEEK, by a way, if you do not get the humor.....;)

Oh and by A way.. that T-shirt says "TRUST ME
I'M A NINJA"..

ONE OF MY MANY TITLES.. NAMED BY OTHER FOLKS..;)

YES.. I'VE BEEN CALLED A NINJA IN REAL LIFE.. TOO...

But I suppose it takes one to know one...

And i'm the only one i've met so far.. in real life..

So i'm not sure i can take 'their' word

FOR IT. :)

I DON'T EVEN NEED TO TALK...;)

MOST of the time..;)

Hmm...

AND

WFT..:P

GOD WORKS IN MYSTERIOUS...

AND VERY IRONIC KARMIC WAYS..;)

Yeah, I guess I forgot the obligatory two-paragraph teary-eyed diatribe on bullying and how we need to pass more laws, therefore giving cops (bullies) judges and prosecutors (bullies) and prison guards (bullies) more work.
How could I have been so remis?

Yes, but it still happens and will continue to. Best way to avoid it is not to be bully bait and to be able to take care of oneself....

What, a video of some guy doing leg presses on a machine? I learned to do leg presses the old fashioned way called squats with a barbell across the shoulders when I was 13.
Next....

I'm sorry if you ARE bullied horribly as a younger person.

The saddest part of all, is, more folks that are bullied becomes bullies than folks who are not bullied, per scientific research, ON THAT; specifically research on the Autism Spectrum, as well, indicates this finding.

And FBI research shows that most school spree shootings are perpetrated by young males who are chronically bullied.

So per the scientific evidence that exists, young folks WITH GUNS who are bullied, ARE A potential DANGEROUS COCKTAIL FOR POTENTIAL DEATH per potential victims, bullies or not.

Ironically enough, perhaps they should ban youth who are bullied from having guns....

I haven't heard that suggestion yet but for material reductionists who simply go by the facts of research, it would not surprise me at all, per the OFTEN narrow mindedness of THAT.

THAT SOMEONE IS ME.

AND no you did not do 930LBS in squats either, or leg presses for that matter, as I can do nearly twice as much as the next competing elite YOUNG Marine at my military gym.

And I do the Kung FU like stuff there, and it was a military specialist that compared me to a Kung Fu Expert on THAT. ;)

Speaking of that, a cool test linked here to determine Brain SEX ID..

I score precisely in the middle and so does my sister, with both of us diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum.

My wife is way up there in the female brain territory...:)

But yeah.. i definitely LOOK ALL MALE NOW..;)

AND YEAH.. my wife looks ALL FEMALE NOW TOO.. but she too is recognized as a boy when a small girl.. per gender stereotypes in 'looks'...

And she never ages.. people remarking she looks the same as the day we married her at age 19 and me at 29.. twenty-five years ago.. and sure.. that's kinda nice.. and she doesn't work out and still has a six pack.. never getting fat.. so yeah.. there's some testosterone in that 'butterfly' somewhere too...:)

And I have the medically accessed testosterone of 277, as low as 75 year old male.. per latest documented test this year.. but that doesn't stop me from leg pressing 930LBS twelve times...just last night...

HUMAN nature.. strange.. bizarre.. and truly magicKAL.. when human potential is more fully pursued.. and met.. regardless of gender and or sexual orientation... i just don't have then ability to truly judge and look down on a person who is different.. or look up for that matter either.. i guess i was born that way.. like 'our' androgynous friend Lady Gaga.. who is very likely on the broader Autism phenotype too..;)

AND ALWAYS full of surprises..

and a textbook example of

No, I think Lady Gaga's hot too.

I like her fearlessness to be different the most, and her don't give an F attitude what anyone else thinks, and she comes out on top, no matter what the haters say or do...

Truly, all successful Artists have to have this ability to gain and or continue success..:)

She's one of my many heroes of and FOR human freedom, too!..:)

And yeah, she seems close to an Aspie girl to me too...

Per my Asdar radar..:)
