You relied on a narrative of racial tropes (particularly "thug" who deserved "lynching") to justify your point of view.

Regardless of any racism on your part, I'm more concerned by your retribution-based sense of justice...

I don't care if he was black white yellow or green, the guy was a thug who robbed people and stole stuff, and he went for his gun, which no man with good intention does.

If I said "beat the everloving s**t out of him" instead of "lynch", would that make me less of a racist in your eyes?

I don't follow American Handegg, as I'm a Norwegian and that sport holds little relevance here, nor do I care for ice hockey, so I do not follow that either, so I cannot really comment on that.

Haha, yes! With modern search engines and a high speed Internet connection, it's actually quite easy not to make stupid mistakes like calling someone a person who discriminates based on race, for calling a criminal who had caused great discomfort and injustice unto others a "thug"! It sure is nice to know how to look things up! :3

Really? You do know that there was at one time a thing called legal segregation, don't you? And even though segregation is no longer legal, even after all these years blacks are still confined to poorer areas due to economic and social reasons based on racism. And why shouldn't they want to live with other black people who won't judge them for their skin color? Blacks in poor neighborhoods dream of being able to leave crime ridden ghettos for somewhere better. Where did you get this information that blacks don't want to be part of mainstream America? And sure, there have been blacks who see intellectual achievement and self betterment as "acting white," but if anything, that's a legacy of slavery and Jim Crow, where the notion held by whites that blacks are stupid and lazy has been socially ingrained in them.

It would take a lot for me to say someone deserves to die. What Michael Brown did probably wasn't enough for me to say that. I might say that Osama bin Laden deserved to die, or Hitler deserved to die. As far as Darren Wilson being charged, there has to be evidence in order for there to be a conviction. I think if he had been charged he would have certainly been found not guilty because there is no evidence that his story was not true. It is possible that Darren Wilson got away with murder. Many people have gotten away with murder throughout the history of our country because the way the legal system is set up it is to protect the innocent even if sometimes a guilty person goes free.
