No, I am not. My statement is true on the left and on the right. There are a good percent of truly religious democrats, in fact, I am friends with a few. The republicans are also often filled with empty Christians. The religious left IS almost undoubtedly smaller than the religious right though if only from looking at religious behavior reported by individuals in the republican and the democrat groups both found from the 2004 election and from the Pew typology tests. I think I tend to dislike the ideology if anything, I am not a liberal hater who likes to read Ann Coulter books, I also do keep up with a few left leaning sources of information as well. I really do like the blog Angry Bear which is left of center and with Slate magazine, which is considered a left-wing information source as well. I might be more influenced by my right wing and libertarian sources but I do not completely ignore all sources that disagree with me.
