According to the link posted earlier:

However, if the rape is known to a Muslim woman’s family in a Muslim country, it may mean her death sentence. If she and her family report the rape to the authorities, the rape victim (and sometimes her family as well) may be further victimized. Death threats are common. The rape victim is usually jailed and once in custody will be routinely raped and sometimes impregnated by police officers and interrogators.

My cat used to have a litter tray, but he spends a lot of his time outside now so he doesn't need one anymore.

Nope.

We are discussing which religion has a better record of human rights. What is happening today is very pertinent.

Your problem is that Islam has such an incredibly poor record of dealing with human rights -- not only historically, but today as well.

again, eric, i said IN THEORY.... which means what it is SUPPOSED to be, not what record it has... i am asking which religion's scriptures has better human rights, not which religion has a better track record of human rights... and didn't i already tell you? im done debating this....

I think that to concentrate on the so-called theory and ignore the actual practice is morally bankrupt.
