I find it frightening that many people support placing a man into the White House who has filed for bankruptcy several times, and they will place him there for no other reason than because he gives a public voice to their sexist, racist and xenophobic opinions.

He will screw the economy worse than any of the other candidates.

And if he is elected, we may very well be seeing the end of the American Republic.

The takeaway lesson is that assuming someone is unelectable, can lead to nasty surprises.

Hmm I can appreciate this, but my own view is that if Trump truly is electable, we are actually already in too deep to climb out :(

Trump is still rising in the polls, and the elections start Feb.!.

While I will admit my fellow Americans lack perfection, I still support government by, for, and of the People.

It is true he is running for the Republican position, and to win the general he has to speak to everyone.

He has been holding back. You do not win the Republican nomination speaking about the problems of the inner city Blacks. They have been losing out. Illegals have taken their jobs and space. For some reason we are willing to invest $250,000 for putting young Black men in jail, where giving them job training and $1,000 a month for two years would cost $25,000. Having a program, for black males 18 to 22 with income and education, would pay for it's self in reduced Court and Prison costs.

There are jobs like removing old Detroit, which no one can afford, and training to work on repairing highways and bridges. We could also use a lot of Soil Conservation. We need a program for those not collage bound that makes them employable. They need to get used to going to work and getting a check. They could also build low cost housing.

High tariffs and low taxes can bring manufacturing back.

Tax lies, we can reduce rates if we abolish deductions. It does favor the low earner. Reality is we have to tax enough to run the government, and pay our debts. As most of the income is going far up the food chain, those people are going to pay a lot more. Also a transaction tax on securities, 1/2% on all stock trades is a lot of money. Raising the max Social Security, to $500,000 would bring in enough that we would not have to repay that part of the National Debt for a while.

Asset Tax. I like this one. A one time tax of 14.2% of net worth. It equals the National Debt. It could be paid over years. Without a National Debt, the money would be worth more. Everything valued in money would be worth more. Taxes could be lowered as no debt payments. It is a tax refunded as an increase in value.

Everyone holding US Bonds can be paid off in dollars. That puts $20 Trillion dollars in circulation. Not at interest, but at inflation, where people will spend it. $5 Trillion a year over four years, a huge economic stimulus.

Ending all immigration until we reach full employment. Full employment drives up wages.

Letting people who are not on a path to citizenship into the country, Guest Workers, those who would start a business. We need farm labor, Mexicans need to make more money. We are the best platform to launch a technology business. People who came here to go to school should be able to stay and start a business. No Citizenship, but if you got a Degree, you should be able to apply it.

The 14th Amendment is clear, Born in the USA and subject to it's jurisdiction. Subject to jurisdiction means if your parents are Mexican, you are a Mexican. A Swiss woman gives birth while flying from Mexico to Canada, over Kansas, The child is not an American, a citizen of Mexico, Kansas, or Canada, or American Airlines, they are Swiss.

An American giving birth or causing it who has been out of the country for more than five years, the child is not American. If we are that strict with our own, Maria giving birth after shopping in the USA, birthed a Mexican.

You have to have one American parent for the 14th to apply.

When the Chinese started doing birth tourism in California the FBI shut it down.

Trump has plans that will sell in the general election. Many of them are just applying existing laws.

Democrats like illegals, give them drivers licenses that register them to vote.

Personally at this point I've stopped taking him seriously. I see him as one of histories greatest trolls.

Disenfranchised republican voters like him, he's said enough things to make other demographics uncomfortable with him.

Trump is running for one third of the American system of government. Many powers are reserved to Congress and the Courts.

Congress is two bodies because the Founders did not trust anyone. The People's House has short terms and should be much larger, it is to reflect the will of the people. It has the Power of the Purse, and the sole right to declare war.

The Senate used to be appointed by the States, to represent the needs of Government. It is a check on the power of the House.

The President can still Veto their work. They can override a Veto if they have enough support.

The Courts can reverse anything that does not fit within our Constitution.

The role of President is to offer a vision of the future, and to sell it to the People.

Only Trump has a vision, and he can sell.

Trump has dismissed the media as being dishonest.

Trump has dismissed the Donors who all want to buy something with their money.

Trump has taken the power of the Republican Party to make appointments, and run things out of sight.

Trump has taken control of who will be appointed Ambassadors, Trade Representatives, and all the Offices within the Government.

Trump says he will only appoint the best person for the job.

This has happened twice before. When WWI started all of the old fat and dumb ugly members of Congress were turned out and replaced by young men with a background in Business and Manufacturing.

At the start of WWII, Congress was culled again, and those with an understanding of technology, Business, and Management replaced them, and the best of the best served in Appointed Offices, many for a Dollar a year.

We now have a Government of Deadwood, who bought their positions.

Brownie who was head of FEMA under Bush is a typical example. President of a Horse Breeders Association who raised money for the Party. Katrina was a disaster, the response was a much worse disaster.

The Government is run by Political Pork. Also the family of elected officials find high paying jobs in Government and Industry that they are not qualified for, except being the family of someone.

Lobbyists are a privatized version of Government, seeking the votes to get some Bill through Congress.

Wall Street alone gives each Member of Congress $1,000,000 a year.

Sometimes you just have to clean house.

Trump will appoint those who will not take bribes, and expose those who do.

I actually agree with you about "Brownie" and the other donors like him who bought positions. But I just don't think a plutocrat like Trump is the answer.

Trump called a Saudi Prince Billionaire Dopey. Said he was living on his fathers money.

Who else could control the Billionaires?

Washington and the Political Parties are never going to self regulate.

That's pretty rich since Trump does the same thing.
