Neither. Cruz is the smart choice. Trump is stuck on repeat. Fiorina can't stop complaining about Hillary. I mean find another topic dearie. Bush tries to avoid answering direct questions by always saying what everyone else is doing wrong. Don't worry about what they aren't doing and worry about making a plan to do something yourself. I've heard Hillary outright lie during the democratic debate more than once. Omalley has to be one of the candidates with the absolute lowest IQ. Ben Carson seems like a genuinely nice guy, and likely a wonderful dad and person, but he seems to lack assertiveness. I kind of like Sanders, but I worry about him possibly having a strong tunnel vision. I could go on, but Cruz is the only candidate trying to consistently answer the questions, find solutions to the problems, and stay focused....sadly getting Americans to vote wisely has proved unlikely in years past.

After briefly visiting thepoliticalguide.com I can see that I agree with his desire to repeal Obamacare, since the simple fact is it (and many other current laws) are unconstitutional and reduce personal freedoms. I don't agree or disagree with his abortion policy so to speak. I am pro life, but I am also pro choice. In other words, I wouldn't want any of my family to have an abortion, but I don't think it's fair for me to make decisions for other people. Thus, I can get behind either choice and move on to what I consider slightly more relevant topics. Until, I see more evidence of failure or wrong choices, it looks like I'm still a Cruz fan.

Actually, my platform would be more like ...

- Free university tuition for US citizens to earn four-year degrees in STEM courses. All other courses and degrees are paid for in the usual ways.

- Free preventive and corrective medical care for US citizens. Cosmetic surgery is paid for by the individual.

- Free housing for homeless US citizens. Basically, a six-foot by eight-foot room (48 sq. feet per person) where the doors can be locked and unlocked by the occupants.

- Deportation of illegal immigrants (a.k.a., "Undocumented Democrats") and their "anchor babies".

- Mandatory military training and service for every US citizen. Two years from age 18 to age 20. Deferments for disabilities and poor health only. If a person wants to become a US citizen, then he or she can sign up for a minimum of four years military service, serve honorably, and then become a citizen.

- Maximum personal income tax of 67%, based on a logarithmic scale that has people living at or below the poverty level paying no income tax. No deductions for anyone for any reason. If your tax bill is 30% of your income, then you pay 30% of your income.

- Affordable pharmaceuticals. Buy your prescriptions at generic rates.

- FDA oversite of all remedies, treatments, and supplements. This includes acupuncture, botanicals, homeopathy, and any other practice not proven by science.

- Eliminate tax-exempt status for all religious institutions.

- Eliminate Affirmative Action programs.

- Eliminate media coverage of terrorist attacks until they've been resolved. No helicopters, no drones, no ambush interviews, no emotional opinions from people who have only the most tenuous connection to the events - a complete news blackout until the events are over.

- Make proof of paternity tests mandatory at a child's birth. No more paternity fraud.

- Withdraw all foreign aid and re-distribute it among the homeless of this country, in the form of housing, medical care, and job training.

That's actually a really agreeable platform though, I'm going to include a Fnord option in future polls.

I like most of the Fnord platform.

But I would not deport illegal immigrants who pay taxes and work for a living. I would make sure they have ID's, and a path to citizenship, so we could keep track of them.

Our nation was built by immigrants...and part of our credibility is based upon the fact that we welcome people of all nationalities.

But I would want to know more details how you plan to pay for it besides the radical revision in taxation.

Trump. We were the richest nation until Clinton gave it all away with NAFTA, other trade deals, favors to Wall Street, and starting the forever war for his oil and defense contractor friends.

My main reason for supporting Trump is, the Republican Party hates him, The Democratic Party hates him, the Media hates him, and when he is elected, heads will roll in Government.

Newspapers mostly no longer exist, and longer for being a source of information. Electronic Media is mostly concerned with not alienating advertisers. Their content is directed to the demographic that matches Product Consumers, the stupid and glad of it.

While Trump has tapped the long standing discontent vote, when elected they will turn on him if he does not deliver.

Lower taxes come after dealing with The National Debt, Illegals, secure borders, Trade Deals, returning jobs to America, Full Employment and rising wages, and funding Social Security.

Trump has brought out Torches and Pitchforks Vote, he dares not fail them.

I think Trump's socialism will appeal more than Clinton's status quo.
