While it's certainly true that there are many Antisemites among the religious right, the fact remains, because of their screwy interpretation of Revelation, which is almost universal among their ranks these days, they believe Christ is going to return to Jerusalem and rule the earth for a thousand years, and so have to keep on his good side by being at least outwardly good to the Jews.

We're talking about a minority of them.

I, for one, don't concern myself with the politics of any musician.

If it was on Fox I'm sure you and all the other liberals watched it. Fox news and conservaive talk shows seem to be the left's best source of self-inflicted butthurt.

Only a minority of evangelicals believe in the Rapture and Millennialism? Since when? Where did you get this misinformation? And if by chance they don't believe in that crap, then what do they believe in?

The part about feeling compelled to suck up to the Jews to save thier own hides from damnation.

When I hear evangelicals talk about the End Times (which is pretty much more important to them than even Christ's death and resurrection), they constantly talk about the State of Israel in Biblical prophecy. Why do you think Republican politicians rubber stamp support for Israel? It's to court and keep happy American evangelicals, who are waiting with baited breath for Christ's return to rule in Jerusalem. Televangelists and Megachurches send millions of dollars to Israel for the rebuilding of the Temple (the Israelis just laugh it off, and use the money to fix roads and such).

Yeah whatever.
My dog is Jewish so I guess I'm covered.

So far, I don't see you contradicting what I've said evangelicals believe, even though you're obviously casting doubt on it.

What's to contradict? I've seen the light of the evangelical right and adopted a Jewish dog. Hey, it even rhymes! :D

So I couldn't go back and easily find instances where you've claimed that I've attacked you, denigrated you, or bullied you?

Just because you've in the past bullied or denigrated me doesn't me I'm not strong enough to bear up to it. Very different from when you take any criticism about guns to be equal or worse to questioning your mother's morals.
And no, I'm not trying to derail the thread, just demonstrate how you get all butthurt over your favorite subject.

No, you claimed I have whenever I run you up a tree. Do we want to talk about TOS's?

To me, picking apart anti-gun arguments are like popping balloons with a lit cigarette. It's a very easy position to attack where the opponent has no valid argument. BTW: I'm closer to my dogs than I ever was to my parents.

Hell, I'm sensing butthurt from you right now.

Coulda fooled me about the gun thing, as you get so damn defensive.
And closer to your dogs than you were to your parents... Aside from your admission of a possible personality disorder, maybe I should have said that you regard any criticism of guns of equal or greater offense than an attack on the character of your dogs.
And you've only run me up a tree in your dreams.

^ You regularly jump on the gays and blacks subject before anyone else brings it up in a thread.
At least with guns I have a vested interest. Given the topic, I could have easily prodded this thread into another gun control debate.

Don't blame it if you can't name it.

He's constantly demanding that I obsessively hunt through long past threads whenever I remind him of his bullying, or one of his other evidences of a disorder.

when I had to deal with bullies at work, when complaints were lodged against them, invariably the first words out of the bullies' mouths were "PROVE IT!" so when I hear those words I know who and what I'm dealing with.
