I am not saying much yet because I have to listen to more news tomorrow. So far what I have heard is that Scalia was pronounced dead sight unseen by a "Justice of the Peace" who also did not order an autopsy. A second "Justice of the Peace" said she would have ordered an autopsy, but by then Scalia was already being embalmed. Where the hell is the freaking Medical Examiner? A Justice of the Peace marries people for Christ's sake. And on something this important YOU HAVE AN AUTOPSY! And how can you pronounce someone dead sight unseen? Even at the hospital we have to have two nurses pronounce death. Anyway, after listening to my certain news sources, I am sure I will have more to say. Until then.....

Lyndon Johnson 1968, he wanted to appoint the successor to Earl Warren as Chief Justice but was denied. Nixon made the appointment of Warren Burger as Chief Justice in 1969.

It's just not going to happen man

Because no sane person believes it. I don't know of many liberals who actually thinks that really happened.

Given we don't even know is going to be nominated, it all seems quite petty.

If the Left wouldn't keep doing corrupt crap, the words "conspiracy theory" wouldn't even have to exist.

Oh bull corn.Like the right hasn't done corrupt things. Most politicians are corrupt, doesn't matter what party they are in.The right starts it's fair share of conspiracy theories.

So here's how it went down,Obama is really an inncubus and he slipped in Scalia's bedroom that night and sucked the life force out of Scalia just so he could appoint a new justice.

She can't conceive that her team could ever do anything wrong, or that the left could ever do anything good.

Loretta Lynch's name getting floated out there

not a chance in hell

nobody is going to get approved just by the principle of the matter, these Republicans have to go back and face their constituents and they demand that they stop any Obama nominee.

Those who are just using this thread to spout off stupid crap, why don't you add something of substance to the subject of the thread and quit wasting valuable posting space. But why should I expect anything different from the Left on a subject that stinks to high heaven?

I just heard this information. I don't know much about her except she was picked by AL Sharpton. Can you tell me what you know about her?

What's substantive about a thread in which it's clearly implied that we evil liberals murdered Scalia?

I will let other users decide whether the Fortas nomination was at all analogous to what the GOP is trying to pull presently:

Claims republicans caused 9/11 and all other current wars, check
Liberal democrat

Back when bush was president I saw this al, the time from liberals. Conspiracy theories isn't something the right has a trademark on.
The whole the right blew up and killed thousands of a eicans so they could steal oil from the Middle East.

Nice feedback from the Left, as usual. Next?

He was an evil bastard. He and his fellow conservatives stole the Presidency from Al Gore. They should have simply counted the votes. Then, they claimed it wasn't a precedent. That never happens with the Supreme Court. That gave us 9/11 and Iraq. That gives us ISIS. So, yeah, he was an evil bastard. I never wish someone dead. But, I won't shed a tear over his death. Now, back to the point. Are you claiming it was murder...
