Yeah because last year the courts ruled social security to be illegal and banned it
if they were going do it they'd done it already. FYI the conservative play the roll of representing old people. Old people who are on social safety net. Who's defending social security people from attacks made by the left? The conservatives that's who. Has the lat 20 years been that bad? Nope. So why change what isn't broken. Nothing terrible has happen with a conservative leaning cour and nothing terrible will happen if it remains a conservative leaning court. I'm not talking about social security for old people, I'm talking about the social safety net for the poor and disabled, who Republicans demonize as takers and eaters. Reagan had tried to cut social security, but it was Lutheran and Catholic social services who told him they wouldn't be able to pick up the slack left by the government, as the number of the needy exceeded their reach. Today, dirtbags like Cruz and Trump are talking about repealing Obamacare without presenting an alternative to replace it.
Incidentally, it's people like you who vote Republican for fear that your guns will be taken from you, or because you're afraid of marriage equality, end up voting against your own economic interests, and then find you get nothing in return.

They can't get rid of ss without kicking vets and old people off so their never do it. However if you side gets its way all guns will be banned in my lifetime. Heck they'd ban all guns tomorrow, then ban free speech except in giver,went approved freedom zones. Then they'd get rid of the whole innocent until proven to guilty as its guilty til proven guilty. Unlawful search, nonsense you don't have anything to hide right, so they'd make it legal to search you, your car, your house anything they want no warrant needed. I cannot say you are correct. Left wing judges on the SCOTUS are far more likely to uphold rights against unreasonable searches and seizures and almost always stand up for the legal rights of the accused in contrast to right wing judges who tend to favor a more restraint approach.
