Yes, even the revolting gift of cash to the girl.

It was always a lie, the reporter's disability had nothing to do with Trump's comment or gesturing as the reporter has a disability that restricts movement and a normal voice. People will believe anything if they want to believe in it.

I hate to go into so much detail about this, but I think the way Trump held his hand was a specific reference to Kovaleski. In the Russian reference he does a marching thing. So I think he tries to actually do impressions of the object of his mocking. Even the one where he shakes the same hand, he doesn't hold it up the same way.

However, I will agree that he probably didn't mean much harm by it. He probably didn't have KellyAnne Conway back then.

Trump was mocking the reporter, he wasn't mocking the guy's disability however but rather his flimsy reporting. The guy reported something that people were accusing Trump of being a liar about for saying and he wouldn't stand by it because of his own personal politics.

I watched the video again, looks like Trump is pretending he has Parkinsons, not a good look for a "world leader"

it's no use convincing them when they refuse to acknowledge it. their man can do no wrong in their eyes, it is just as he said about how he could shoot somebody on fifth avenue and they'd still vote for him.

I cant believe that these people where who you had to choose between. America was f****d either way.

Also Trump said he wasnt mocking him for his disability so it must be true because ya know trump never lies

Whether or not he was mocking the guy for his disability or not he still singled someone out and mocked that person because they didnt agree with his views. Typical bully behavior even without disability being involved

americans have an authoritarian streak a mile wide, and authoritarians seem to like bullies, seem to look up to them as moral exemplars.

The reporter doesn't have Parkinson's

There is no reason to infantilize the guy, he can be mocked without it being about his disability and he deserved to be called out for not standing by his reporting.

Bullies support bullies, its pretty clear bullies wont think mocking is bad.

If the reporter wasnt disabled and he got mocked- it would still be bad. Trump is a bully that has gotten his way too long in life due to money+power+lies.

It's just sickening that people can think mocking is somehow alright in this day and age, especially for someone that is about to become our president!

What if he mocks a leader from some other country? Would it still be alright? What if he bullies another leader? I don't like the what if game much, but these what ifs are very likely. Trump is still acting rude in interviews and still whines on Twitter a lot. He needs to act like a grown up, not an immature little brat that has to have his way no matter what. Plus telling some truth more wouldn't hurt. He's lied and flip flopped how many times now?

The self-righteousness is too much, how dare he mock a reporter and use twitter! Look in the mirror sometime, develop some self-awareness and watch how liberals in this country act themselves. Political correctness only applies when its something that offends you apparently.

I don't know either. I guess people think its alright because Trump made all these promises to "make America great again" (many of which he has changed his mind on now!).

Bullying is sick and wrong and shouldnt be justified ever.

Yes but Trump doesn't know what the reporter has...he is doing an impersonation (of the reporter) that reminds people of Parkinsons or cerebral palsy...clearly intended to ridicule at the expense of people with disabilities

I wouldn't bother arguing with Jacoby dude has a f*****g hard-on for Trump. He's his biggest fan. Doesn't understand the concept of questioning anything Trump does or says at all lol.
