If altruistic before a competition, then you will not even compete and will starve to death from lack of competing for resources to live if there is no safety net there to catch you.

I am now 66, altruistic and far from starving to death, so when do you project that might begin?

If 66 and true that you have not done evil by competing in the past, then you are quite delusional for your age.

Where was your altruism in those instances?

Not that I blame you for not having any at those points in time.

FMPOV, you would be doing a disservice to mankind if you did not compete to win.

Ah, so now you want to change the topic to talking about me?

GnosticBishop wrote:

What instances? I have never been in any situation where I was forced to compete in order to eat.

You are an exception and if you did not have to compete, then whoever gave you your living had to to pave the way for you.

Strange though that you never competed for a job.

No, neither did that happen. My father paid for things until I became an adult and began working for a living, and then I faced all the usual challenges related to looking for a job, applying, performing, etc. in order to get a paycheck so I could eat. Things are much different today -- the way has been "paved for me", so to speak -- now that I receive SSI and Medicare, but I spent most of my life "working to eat" just like everyone else and without ever having to compete.

So if you had to compete, you had to create a victim to that competition and do evil or what the loser would have thought of as evil.

So how do you figure you never had to compete of do evil to a victim of those competitions?

I learned this as a child and it has proved true for me...

From Psalm 50:10: "For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills."

He Owns the Cattle (on a Thousand Hills)
Words and Music by John W. Peterson

"He owns the cattle on a thousand hills,
"The wealth in every mine;
"He owns the rivers and the rocks and rills,
"The sun and stars that shine.
"Wonderful riches, more than tongue can tell -
"He is my Father so they're mine as well;
"He owns the cattle on a thousand hills -
"I know that He will care for me."

Yet you still did the evil thing instead of letting God care for you.

Thanks for coping out without recanting your lie.

When and where?! Either produce some evidence or return to the thread topic!

You are the one who deflected with that dumb poem.

I thought you were letting it express your thoughts.

You have admitted to competing and thus doing evil from an evolutionaru POV. That is good enough for me.

What else would you like to discuss on the issues of the O.P.?

BS. I did that once, it turned out badly for everyone and it had nothing whatsoever to do with competing so I could eat.

Here is what I have shared:

Quote:

Spin as you wish, but you cannot change the facts!

Why would I want to change your facts when they bolster the O.P.?

"I became an adult and began working for a living, and then I faced all the usual challenges related to looking for a job,"

You competed and your victims felt the sting of your win and thought evil had come their way.

Just as you did when you lost a competition.

That is all that the O.P. is basically saying.

Nice that you do not have to compete directly anymore, neither do I, but we are living off the benefits our competitions and winning gave us in the past. Ask the tax payers if they feel it is evil when they have to support those who no longer work. It is their cash, or more likely that of future generations, that we are spending.

BS. In most cases I was the only applicant, and there was *never* a time that I or anyone else ever tried to *win* over another. I am neither self-reliant or delusional...and now we are all done talking about me!

In most cases

Most is not all and the others make my case.

We are done I think.
