They were wrong to think this.

There is no such thing as Islamophobia. A phobia is a constant, irrational fear of something that is not consistently or inherently dangerous or harmful.

Most Muslims are not terrorists, and almost no MUslim Americans are. I won't demonize my fellow Americans simply for their religion and ethnicity.

This star doesn't remind you of anything?

I have even seen them in beirut on the old mosques' outside windows, like countless of times, and of different shapes and designs.

This makes the theory that Islam was originally a 'Messianic Jewish sect" (ie. Ebionites) even stronger.

But that's an eight pointed star. Not the six pointed star of David.

why do people like you always ignore that muslims invaded christian lands and forced christians to convert to islam? why paint christians as the opressors all the time and muslims as victims? islam is a big world religion just like christianity, not a tiny religion like judaism.

you talk about islamophobia, but the whole feminist and left movement are spreading christianityphobia. christianity is not the only religion in the world which is inherent violent, anti-women and anti-gay, why is that so hard for feminists and leftists to understand? why just attack one religion of all the religions we have in the world?

Christians have done that before, several times. Ever heard of the conquistadors?

Christians are oppressed by Muslims in some countries, such as Saudi Arabia ... which is supported by Donald Trump.

I have acknowledged this. I'm just saying that Islam is not inherently evil. At its core, Islam is very similar to Christianity. Most of the differences between the faiths come from political propaganda, not the holy books themselves.

Most leftists go through an anti-Christian hate phase. We all grow out of it eventually.

I'm not sure if Christianity is inherently violent. It all depends on which verses you prefer.

Is Christianity inherently homophobic and misogynistic? I'm not sure. The Bible certainly is, but many self-proclaimed Christians haven't even read it anyway.

I have criticized several different religions in the past. For example, in the past I have been critical of Burmese Buddhist leaders due to their racism and Islamophobia.

I will admit that many leftists are only critical of Christianity, but they would be critical of other religions if they truly followed their own principles.

Some leftists are hypocritical, but leftism itself is not inherently hypocritical.

Leftism, at its core, is just about liberating human beings from all forms of tyranny.

Yes, i am aware of what christians have done, but do you know what ottoman empire (sunni muslims) did ?

well the quran and other religious books are inherently homophobic and misogynistic aswell.

Are you referring to the Armenian genocide?

Yes, I am aware of that. Yes, it was terrible.

I agree.

The Talmud is surprisingly pro-feminist though ... but it has other problems.

... and now you've lost me with a tidal wave of stupid.

Red Ice Creations is a far-right propaganda outlet. The author of this article is citing Jack T. Chick and Alberto Riviera as sources. Jack T. Chick was a lunatic and Alberto Riviera was a fraudster.

This article claims that Islam is a repurposed Babylonian religion. This is pure nonsense. The Babylonians were polytheists. Islam strongly condemns all forms of polytheism in favor of the one God. Muslims even reject the Christian Holy Trinity because it is too close to polytheism for their tastes.

I didn't even read the rest of the article. I was starting to feel queasy because I'm allergic to BS.

Actually everything below the pic of that star shaped hole in the wall looks SO Jewish that I assumed that that they WERE Jewish (like you posted the pics as a comparison). Didnt register on me that those were not pics of synagogues but of mosques. That IS interesting.

I explained what a phobia was. If you disagree with my definition, then provide one of your own that does a better job.

As for the yokel with the sign in that picture, well the explanation for that is that he is probably, almost certainly, just plain ignorant. Marxists are atheists, so a Muslim Marxist is like a Jewish Nazi, or black Klansman. It just doesn't make sense.

Okay, first of all, Muslims believe in an afterlife. It says as much in their book, the Quran. Jehovah's Witnesses reject the afterlife entirely. They do not accept the concept of hell, and whilst they believe there is a heaven, only 144,000 get to go there.
Muslims do not believe Christ was the son of God, Jehovah's Witnesses do. Jehovah's Witnesses are extreme pacifists, Muslims the exact opposite. JW's avoid politics and war, and one cannot be a member of their organisation if one is either a soldier or politician.
About the only thing they have in common is that they reject the concept of the trinity. That's it.

Then why JWs refer themselves as NonTrinitarians? This is so confusing.
