Well, well, what do we have here? Someone who is discouraging other people from believing in any religion by Theist-bashing and giving out anti-theist chicken crap excuses yet again?

While I do agree that God (and many other gods) has committed immoral acts, They had ALSO done moral acts. Plus, humans are not any better than the gods, as they have done both moral and immoral acts, as well.

While I do agree that Jesus had died on the cross, it happened because if it didn't, his life would've been a LOT worse than it already was (because where he lived was under control of the Roman Empire back then). Not only that, God ALSO raised Jesus from the dead, and, upon saying his farewells to his loved ones, Jesus was sent to heaven by God.

While I do agree that many Christians can be such homophobic and misogynistic snobs, that DOES NOT MEAN everyone of them are like that, as I have met some Christians who actually have common sense, and I've met a gay couple who I used to go to church with a while back.

Truth be told, God (and the other gods) are neither completely good nor completely evil, as They can both be moral and immoral, depending on Their acts. They never have, and They NEVER will. You, on the other hand, want us to believe that God (and other gods), and all of Their followers, are completely evil and/or immoral, and want to discourage us from believing in Christianity and any other theistic religions, and want us to convert solely into 'atheism' (more like anti-theism). Well, let me tell you something, BnoxiousBullcrap, what YOUR doing to us is no where near any immoral than what God (and other gods), and all Their followers, had done (which you've even threatened me to make a life-bet on Their morality on my PM a while back), you diluted scumbag.

Why would I worship a god that can't be bothered to be moral? Or that teaches immoral lessons like genocide and slavery? Christians who are homophobic or misogynistic aren't being bad Christians, that's exactly how the Bible tells them to behave. They are moral only to the degree they ignore their holy book.

Everyone's kicking a dead horse at this point. I'm pretty sure he's gone at this point, otherwise we'd still be getting three threads like this per day.

Religion is the biggest cause of war and genocide throughout history. It has also caused segregation, homophobia, the persecution of those who hold a different faith, discrimination based on religion and so on and so forth.

If God(s) were truly moral and principled, they would not have allowed this to happen. They would also not allow over a billion people to suffer in poverty, or for the 2 world wars to have happened. A God who has any compassion at all would have intervened in events hundreds of years ago, and would continue to intervene if required to do so.
