Yeah, the Trump criticisms here are intellectually offensive.

1. Mostly, it's something absurd, or something nobody cares about (a recent criticism here: "Trump didn't make as much money as Bill Gates").

2. Commonly, it's ad Hitlerum fallacious propaganda. ("Trump is a NAZI/fascist".)

3. Mostly, the critic fails to provide an explanation, or evidence.

4. Links to biased web sites are common.

5. IMO substantive criticisms are never talked about, because Trump critics appear to be merely parroting propaganda.

6. Trump critics rarely (never) discuss positives, so the critic appears biased.

7. Trump critics promote fallacious reasoning, "Trump is a narcissist" therefore .... ". Therefore what? Maybe a "narcissist" is a positive. Take a college class in psychology and learn that tphere are positive/negative personality traits with all personality types.

8. Mostly critics appear to only understand their criticisms in a superficial way, so they give off a "orange man bad" vibe.

9. It all comes across as silly, goofy, unintellectual, so yes, intellectually offensive.

This is just gaslighting, which Trump himself does a lot. Yes, we are all hysterical and crazy and intellectually challenged because we don't like Trump, all the world is insane except the people who see Trump's genius. Next you'll be describing the beauty of the emperor's new clothes to us.

You don’t seem to care when the anti trumps do it.

Trumps nit a emperor, and you wonder why anti trump people come off as irrational

It was a reference to the fairytale story "The Emperor's New Clothes" by Hans Christian Andersen. I don't actually think Trump is an emperor.

This is why I just ignore you most of the time and don't respond.

It's hard to take over-exaggeration and melodramatics seriously.

True on both counts.

But let him rant, as he is only ONE person who claims to be personally offended out of 36 who responded to the poll so far.

That's only 2.78 percent, which is NOT a significant number.

Nor is it a significant opinion.

Again, let him rant. He's hurting no one.

If you're referring to LoveNotHate, she is a woman and not the sort of person to get upset or offended over comments about someone she doesn't know personally. So I highly doubt that she cast that vote.

What you should be learning from this is that most of those who aren't anti-trump are not particularly worked up over what's said about Trump. They're either not offended or they don't care. I think that to several Trump is just simply a topic.

If it's fair, constructive criticism, no I'm not offended. If it's anything that spews out of the mouths of such people as Schumer, Pelosi, Waters, or any of these other Dems, yes, I'm highly offended.

If I took offense at anyone criticizing Trump, I'd constantly be angry at my self!

What's the point of WRONG PLANET, if you belittle personal traits?

This topic suggests that Trump's speech pattern (akin to a "stream of consciousness") makes him an idiot or mentally ill.
viewtopic.php?t=372273

That's a direct insult to ASD people.

"stream of consciousness" speech pattern is a known ASD trait.

Funny, the exact same thing could be said about Trump and his Twitter history.

I sincerely doubt Trump is one of us. He has too much of an extroverted personality.

I don't think Trump has anything wrong with him. He is just an a**hole. I remember the days where we all thought someone was just an a**hole or just rude, now today we are all putting labels on people to explain away their rude behavior or their narcissism or them being a jerk or an a**hole or so self absorbed and not giving a s**t. I have heard he has NPD, then schizophrenia, a learning disability, speech impairment, now people are suggesting he is autistic?

The site is called "WRONG PLANET".

Why is it OK to make fun of people who are different, like people with odd speech patterns?

Why is it OK to make fun of someone simply because of their personality? (like a "narcissist")?

Do you see that it's hypocrisy to say this is "WRONG PLANET" accepting of people who are different, then turn around and make insults at people who are different.

Trump gets accused of many mental conditions.

That green lights people to make fun of people with those conditions

For example, in the topic linked below, it was suggested that odd speech pattern indicates one's an "idiot" or "mentally ill".

I don't make fun of Trump's speech pattern, I make fun of him for being a bigoted, crypto fascist, narcissistic douche nozzle who isn't nearly as smart as he thinks he is, and who has bought into his own BS about being a successfully stellar businessman.

You're citing all personal traits, and not actions. SO ...

Why is it OK to make fun of people who are different like, "bigots"?

Why is it OK to make fun of people who are different like, "narcissistic douche nozzles"?

Why is it OK to make fun of people who are different like, "crypto fascist", and "people who embellish their success"?

Again, do you see that it's hypocrisy to say this is "WRONG PLANET" accepting of people who are different, then turn around and make insults at people who are different.
