I have met quiet a few race supremacists over the years. Including one guy who was the leader of a renown violent neo nazi terrorist organisation called Combat 18.
I live on a small island 7 miles by 9 with a population of 120,000. during my early 20s i jammed with a group of people who saw themselves as followers of Ras Tafari. (which some call Rastafarians, although Rasta don't like the term that ends with ism), including a nice guy who came from the Ghambai who's skin has a blue sheen to it due to how black his skin was. His dreadlocks hung down to his waist, and he often wore traditional African Dress, in bright green velvet.
Imagine, living on a tiny island that was extremely conservative in nature, that was populated primary by super wealthy people who moved there to save money due to the islands tax status, people who work in the finance industry and people who work in industries that make a living supporting the people in the finance industry.
People generally wear suits, were (during the era) clean cut, short smart hair etc.
During that time, there were only one or two black people who lived on the island.
There was however, an ingrained ignorant racism from the locals, the wealthy aristocrats as well as a fashionable trend during the 80s which was influenced by films such as Romper Stomper and pop books such as "Skin head" etc.
Now, imagine walking down the street with your new African friend, wearing scruffy clothes, with hair down to your shoulders... well, i think you can see how that may have brought some unwanted attention to ourselves.
The island was also occupied by the Germans, and some of the German Soldiers married Jersey girls and settled in Jersey. So some of the ancestors of the German soldiers were born in Jersey, and perhaps such people got interested in the second world war and the neo nazism, due to their family links. With some did so simply to understand, while others did so in order to not only understand but convert.
Several of my friends fathers were German soldiers, one of my friends uncle was in the SS. Neither of them however are neo nazi's or remotely far right. Sadly they are not the only ones.
Growing up in the island, it is also hard to ignore the marks left to the island by the Germans during the second world war. For example, there is a massive network of WW2 Underground bunkers / Fortifications.
So it would hard to forget for any kid growing up in the island, so perhaps some of the people growing up in the island naturally got interested in the second world war and some people must have liked what they learnt so much that they decided to continue the nazi's work.
I am not sure why neo nazism took route in the UK, although i do know that before the second world war there were quiet a few pro nazi's in the UK, especially among the aristocratic class, some of these families may have continued to support or subscribe to nazi values covertly.
Some of the cities in the north of england can be fairly racist. In the 80s there were massive riots in a city called Liverpool, with skin heads vs a group of people who came from an Jamaican heritage. During this time (and not that different today) the city was fairly segregated.
With the folk that came from Jamaican heritage staying in one end (Smith Down road, Seftdon Park), and the white people else where.
In countries such as South Africa, there has been a long history of segregation between the races. With the wealthier white dutch Africans first dominating business and politics, only for them to eventually get overpowered by the greater number resulting in many of these extremely racist white people being forced to leave SA, including a number of extremely wealthy people. There money must have gone somewhere?
I believe that part of the revival has been caused by a few people who have spread their discriminative ethos through entertainment products, using the media and politicians to seductively sell discrimination and race supremacy as a good choice. And you may think this all sounds nuts, however please read up on people like Steve Bannon and check out what he is doing with all the money he has.
Steve Bannon has openly explained that he is now promoting and funding "alt-right" factions, which he proclaims is his way of addressing what he thinks is an imbalance created by George Soros, who, also a billionaire philanthropist, has spent the last 10 or 20 years giving away billions in order to help create democracy where ever he can.
George Soro's is an interesting guy, however in his mind the fight isn't between the right wing or the left wing, to him its more about a fight between democracy and totalitarianism. Soro's, who is a Jewish survivor of not only the second world war but also someone who has lived in communist countries, who later went onto make billions through hedge fund investments, and later other investments but includes creating his own media that promotes democracy.
So, we, the people of the world are like passengers between a game between these two media moguls, who both manufacture propaganda in the form of entertainment products that promote their political ideals.
These people, along with their own business network which include many of the most wealthy and influential people in the world, which includes world leaders, Hollywood moguls, famous celebrities and top business owners.
They are both part of what is called the Great Game. The eternal fight for dominance.
One of the main reasons why you may not recognise race supremacists in the street, is that the neo nazi's started to get smart after the 80s, as they started to realise how much some people hated them. Also, in some countries such as in the UK, laws were passed against racial discrimination. So, openly promoting neo nazi's could potentially get that person in trouble with the people who hate such things, but also potentially even arrested.
Also, a number of years ago, when i was researching a bit about these people, i discovered a website authored by a man called Will Browning, that explained on his site to his neo nazi followers, part of their strategy.
Part of their new school neo nazi strategies is what he called "stealth mode". To go underground and act like sleeper spies in enemy territory. Using all sorts of volatile strategies to undermine the people who they saw as enemies.
Strategies such as divide and conquer, sleeping with the enemy, food spiking, abuse of positions of power and influence,
spreading misinformation and disinformation with the aim of assassinating their enemies. using media for spreading propaganda to get people thinking as you do. Using illegal drugs and organised crime networks to undermine the opposition and ideally eradicate their victims.
So. you see, the way these people think is criminal, underhanded and extremely dangerous.
Why are they dangerous?
It is one argument that they are dangerous to certain factions of society because of the values and world view that they hold.
If you analyse what the original nazi's were trying to achieve, it isn't too hard to work out why such people are dangerous to various factions. After all, the original nazi's did start a war which they hoped would ultimately end with them gaining power over the world, so that they could then enforce their rules and ethos on the world under their control.
Part of their ethos was the involuntary "eradication" of people who they deemed not worthy of life or poor genetic make up. People from various races among those marked for death, along with any one with mental or physical disabilities.
Another part of their ethos was to create a literal hierarchy among the races left, with the Aryan Race being at the top of the triangle, with the rest being enforced into a class or caste, and forced to accept their lot.
The nazi's also took a lot of influence from some of the other great civilizations from history, such as the Greeks and the Romans. Both civilizations having slaves as standard, while their master race enjoyed extreme luxury and a life of leisure.
This strange concoction of ethos appears to have been born partly out of darwinism theory of evolution, eugenics (very popular in the UK), post enlightenment occult revival and of course the conditions of the time, as much of the world was in a recession which partly may have been caused by the first world war.
Nonetheless, if you think of how ruthless, and devilish such people are, but also what values and worldview they hold.
I really do not think it takes that much to understand why those who understand how they see things, why they are so dangerous. In fact, having autism does put us in a bad position if the neo nazis do take over the world. as i don't think the new neo nazi's have any thing great install for us apart from a free ticket for a train ride and a free holiday at concentration camp.
One thing that you have to remember with people of such an extreme mindset, is that to them, a war hasn't started, in theory the second world war never ended and they are continuing with the original nazi's work by fighting coverty what may be the third world war, which is fought covertly rather than in full sight.
