Presidents usually have enough political currency to get one big thing done. Trump did tax cuts, Obama did health care, Bush got the normal rules thrown out the window because of 9/11, Clinton did NAFTA, etc.

The whole premiss of this thread will radically change in the next few days.
President Trump has been hindered in the courts by advancing his agenda item for building a border wall.
Today the Supreme Court ruled in his favor.

Supreme Court paves way for Trump administration to use military funds for border wall
