If God destroyed the coronavirus, we wouldn't know about it. You can't know about a problem that no longer exists. So for all we know God has prevented all kinds of bad from happening.

A. God loves us and so he wants us to have free will. For that reason he does not force us to be good. The consequence of this is that sometimes people will choose to commit evil acts.
