This sounds like O.J.’s "investigation" into who the "real killer" is.
While this does seem similar, the lack of material evidence -- not even a glove that doesn't fit -- is what's ruining Ms. Reade's criminal case.  Allegations alone are not evidence.

If these allegations emerged, say, a year from now, then Biden could be impeached, and then if the Senate convicted him then he would be thrown out.  Until then, he’s just another citizen and will be treated similarly, although naturally both sides will politicize this and put huge pressure on law enforcement and prosecutors.
Gach ... another impeachment?!  Another 2-3 years and untold billions of dollars wasted on a foregone conclusion?!

Maybe I should retire to the Philippines, hindi ba?

The 2-3 years and untold billions would never happen with Biden because The Media is unquestionably an ally of The Left. That fact hasn't been legitimately debatable since the 2016 election.
”The Left” as you imagine it does not exist. Nor does “The Media”. And neither is as powerful as you portray them.

The actual American left is more sidelined by the media than the American right.

The centre-left as represented by Obama, the Clintons, and Biden, does align nicely with much of the moderate portion of the American news media. As moderation is generally valued in news organisations, this includes several of your most prestigious outlets.

There are however large sections of the media that are not favourable to the centre-left. Amongst prestigious moderate organisations, the Wall Street Journal is the foremost that skews centre-right. There is also a huge network of newspapers, magazines, radio shows, TV news, and particularly websites which are opposed to the American centre-left. Of these, the right and particularly the far-right has a far stronger presence than the far-left, or alternative centrists.

You and I disagree strongly on this particular topic. And there's nothing wrong with that. I could be wrong, but I think you're one of the kind of people that doesn't believe that there's an interconnection or network involving the "liberal" political parties in the world, the "main stream media" in the world and the most prominent corporations in the world as well as the governments of most countries. I believe there is a connection that actively works together as such. President Eisenhower referred to the concept as the "Military Industrial Complex" but it's morphed into the more expansive interconnectedness we see today.

I have no problem with talking to people that disagree with me on the subject because often they'll think the notion is preposterous and even say they not only don't consider the idea plausible, they usually deny that it's even possible, which is weird. Then they "seal" their argument by lobbing their anvil of victory with: "Prove it." This is where I very happily and confidently go my way maintaining my ironclad convictions on the subject and they go theirs. Totally fine with me.

Biden has to drop out over this Assault Accusation. All humans can be hypocrites. People ascribing to and being part of any political group can be hypocritical. However, the Democratic Party simply can not shake the blatant hypocrisy it will display and the lack of respect it might still be looking to retain if it turns a blind eye to this accusation in order for the "ends to justify the means".

That Alabama politician Roy Moore lost his election over sexual assault allegations. At the time my thought on the subject was: as long at the same rules apply to EVERYONE seeking public office, than so be it. Egalitarian. There are numerous posts around that time as well as Trump's election in which I supported and recommended an automatic "special counsel" to run in conjunction with every president's administration to fully investigate, fully vet any president from here on out. And, in the event said special councils find anything to be proven to be egregious, the president can/should be impeached and removed from office. Of course that met with either "crickets" or other excuses.

Biden needs to drop out. The Democrats will be hypocrisy incarnate if he doesn't..

I am not American, but I will think that you will find that a lot of what you consider mainstream media is not sympathetic to the Left so much as it pushes for "liberal" moderates that it can easily signal boost as easily said social points, while also pushing for "liberal" economic stances that let the rich and powerful keep their power or even gain more power. By many strokes of comparing to the wider world, you will find that liberalism actually shares more with the Right than the Left, almost synonymous with conservatism where it wants the illusion of freedom (liberty), while not actually bringing any change by pushing a freedom of not changing.

Biden is like a perfect representation of that, by being able to push an image of being on the Left, when for all intents and purposes he is actually a conservative who raised harsh prison laws that targeted the poor, was made VP to Obama to help get the white vote, does not actually want to bring any meaningful change, and has similar sexism and misconduct allegations that you see about people like Trump. The fact that you had the media and such ignoring the allegation and stuff earlier because they would rather have this gross puppet instead of Bernie that has a proven history of being correct on the issues, even sensationalizing unfounded accusations to make him look sexist, just shows the media does not have a true Left wing bias. They just want someone who will bring no change while not using messaging that is so obviously toxic and easy lies.

Not to pull a no true Scotsman fallacy, but the real Leftists were calling out the accusations to be taken seriously, that it would be made an issue and was a clear example of hypocrisy, while people in the media were just making things up about Bernie and calling his supporters "Bernie Bros" as an attempt to make his side look like the real misogynists.

I concede that my comparison of "The Right" versus "The Left" or "Conservative" versus "Liberal" is certainly a simplification when talking about politics. I also know that in many European countries the political differentiation of ideologies has many more facets than the U.S. two party system (in practice). My simplification in this context is similar to referring to "Protestants" and "Catholics" when in reality there are thousands of Christian denominations with widely varying beliefs.

I get your point that the true "Left" or Progressives or as some would call radicals, whatever term is used are not the political arm of the main stream media or vice versa. I'm saying that if you simplify and separate into the two broad categories of "Liberal" and "Conservative", the "Media" is "Liberal".

If you're saying that the "Media's" fundamental goal is really to work to maintain the status quo, the power structure (That the election of Trump upset) more than being true to any sort of "Liberal" ideology for it's own sake, I agree with you completely.
