Just to clarify: Are you accusing me of lying (either with my results, or in how I answered the questions)?

Or is there some "hidden meaning" in your statement, which I am unable to decipher?

No Bric, its just simple Likert rules

If you primarily pick the middle answer you will guarantee your score will be neutral (in the middle).

Haven't taken the test in a while, that actually looks fairly accurate for me these days.

Every political test I've ever taken has always came up libertarian side of things. (Though I display some interests, sentiments that might be considered rightist.) I believe in Individualism. That's a humanistic stance. Humanism = left. individualism = libertarian/or libertine. It's kind of hard to reconcile the individual to the collective though. I'm sure if I was wealthy, my view on big business and corporations, would be 'modified', go all the way to the right. Like Milton Friedman maybe. Monetary status does that. Churchill had a pithy saying on this *....But I might be pathological anti-authority. So it'd be libertarian right, whatever the hell that is . I suppose it's George Washington "Give me liberty, or give me death." (That's maybe antiquated. What's shocking progressive one century often turns out to be considered conservative passe, the next.)

* "Any man under 30 who is not a liberal has no heart, and any man over thirty who is not a conservative has no brains." ― Winston S. Churchill

True or not....? :chin:

I guess the midpoint doesn't represent a particularly uncreepy, correct, or sane sense of liberality/authoritarianism or of socialism/conservatism, but just the average of the whole population (of the whole world or just part of it?). So it could be argued it's nothing to particularly worry about.

Interesting that Trump's an authoritarian. So much for small government and the freedom of the marketplace. I guess the whole idea of authoritarianism begs the question, who do authoritarians want us to defer to? Some deity, some written constitution, scientists, "the left," "the right" (whatever they may be), some or other government, some political party that fraud or tactical manoevres may or may not have helped to keep in or out of office, or just the person who happens to be the particular authoritarian in question? And if they choose more than one of those, who do we obey in the event of conflicting commands?

I took the test a long time ago. I can't recall my exact scores, but I was comfortably in the lower left quadrant, which didn't much surprise me.

Excuse multiple posts, CloudCrap wouldn't let me post it all in one go.
