Vegetableman, I swear you were a Trump Supporter (if my memory is correct here) and you have seemed to change your tune on here. I mean this as a compliment.

Probably because I spend more time going after Dems than Pubs, and didn't buy into Russiagate. But I certainly never expressed any support for Trump or the Pubs.

With Republicans, what you see is what you get with those a**holes. I've done my time focussing on them. The Democrats are bought and paid for by the same corporate interests, so we don't have a real opposition to neoliberalism any longer. The Dems are not even the lesser of two evils anymore, they're the more effective evil. The left goes to sleep when they're in office, and the media gives them cover. Eight years of Obama woke me up to that reality. That's when I really started paying attention to what really goes on in congress.

It's an illusion that Dems were taking on Trump. While Pelosi is ripping up his SOTU address on national TV, the Dems are quietly passing Trump's entire legislative agenda. It's all smoke and mirrors designed to maintain the political divide.

I still consider myself on the left, and I support progressive candidates. I've also supported Libertarian candidates. I'm not as concerned with political affiliation as I am those who are trying to highlight corruption in government.

His past posts are still available, so anyone can check.

How, exactly?

I don’t think you can even query the forum by username never mind by political affiliation And username.

Go to profile, select "views posts by this user" and always wait a few seconds before jumping to another page to view their post history or it won't let you.

That might have been someone else then who had a similar name to yours.

I remember IdahoRose and idahoAspie and I always got those two confused.

I have seen other usernames here that were very close to being identical so I can imagine I must not have been the only user here who got usernames mixed up.

I hope they do, because I'm sure the best way to help a case about whether their lord and savior incited a riot would be to...have another riot in his honor.

Odd thing about Trump's followers is they do not seem to have a very cohesive belief system.

I mean, what they all have in common is a universal allegiance to Donald Trump; but there is the "Rescue the babies from being eaten" coalition, the anti-Semitic group, the MAGA-hat group, the various "Birther/Truther" groups, the anti-vax group, the "Lock Her Up" group, the "Blame Obama" group, and the digital soldiers who recorded themselves taking their QAnon oaths online and staged the failed coup attempt on January 6, 2021.

Sometimes these groups overlap; but mostly they do not.  The only thing that seems to bind them together is their belief in a vast conspiracy theory claiming President Donald Trump is waging a secret war against a global liberal cult of Satan-worshipping pedophiles, and that he is G^D's own "Chosen One" who will take back America (and eventually the world) and deliver his followers from the "scourge of atheistic science and equal rights for gays, women, and minorities".

So they hail Trump and wait for his restoration to the throne on
   November 3, 2020    November 20, 2020    December 14, 2020    January 3, 2021    January 6, 2021    January 20, 2021   March 4, 2021, just as the prophesies of QAnon foretold.
