“Critical Race Theory” training AT&T style
I'd suggest that Marxism probably isn't the best option, given that branch of socialism relates to "class" based conflict.
Instead, a related form of socialism that was popular last century, which replaced "class" with "race" as the point of conflict may be more appropriate.
In that form of socialism, one race was singled out as having certain traits which were linked to the individual's race, rather than the individual themself, being born with them (let's call them "privileges"). Members of another race felt themselves to be victims of those with the "privileges", and so acted to gain a form of redress (let's call it "equity") through taking from, and later "punishing" those with "privileges".

those guys? they also accept Dr Phil as something human, and were once led by Dr Ewen Cameron. Real solid outfit there.
McGraw's work highlighting mental health issues earned him a Presidential Citation, given to him by APA President Gerald P. Koocher, PhD. "Your work has touched more Americans than any other living psychologist," Koocher read from the citation.
"I have received no more valued honor," said McGraw, whose late father was a psychologist. "I wish my dad was alive to see it."

on Ewen:
Today, many journalists, doctors, and the general public see the Allan Memorial Institute in Royal Victoria Hospital as the cradle of modern torture, a cradle built and rocked by Scottish-born Dr. Donald Ewen Cameron. To the patients of Dr. Ewen Cameron, our university was the site of months of seemingly unending torture disguised as medical experimentation –– an experimentation that destroyed their lives and changed the course of psychological torture forever.

Donald Ewen Cameron (24 December 1901 – 8 September 1967)[1] was a Scottish-born psychiatrist. He is largely known today for his central role in unethical medical experiments, and development of psychological and medical torture techniques for the CIA. He served as President of the American Psychiatric Association (1952–1953), Canadian Psychiatric Association (1958–1959),[2] American Psychopathological Association (1963),[3] Society of Biological Psychiatry (1965)[4] and World Psychiatric Association (1961–1966).[5]
now they have gone full circle and are writing Phil off as a hack, lol https://www.apadivisions.org/division-2 ... psychology
two of earths most evil outfits on one thread, even the DEA is good cop when AT&T and APA come to town.

Oh look, whatatboutism masquerading as a legitimate argument. It does kind of reinforce the point that this stuff is all fake posturing though.
they are playing both sides of "divide and rule" and spying for the DEA. What an evil corporation.

taking the economics out of an economic theory sounds silly, but like something that can exist well along side capitalism.

Not sure why you would rubbish an entire discipline of science over one bad apple??
Psychology is basis of a number of scientific disciplines including psychology, psychiatry. counselling, occupational therapy, social work, nursing and even general practice (GPs are now trained in psychological techniques as they are frontline workers for mental health).
Just because there are some people who aren't cut out ot be psychologists (I've met plenty) doesn't mean the discipline is rubbish
Not that I wouldnt..
Just kidding, and in my personal experience Psychiatrists are the only ones I have had trouble with.
The APA are a scientific body that oversee regulations and standards in professional practice and research.

Admittedly aside from Phil I know of no other recent issues, but Dr. Phil is a huge issue, his fans live out his tough love BS on their family members. And the harm he has done to actual guests alone is pretty remarkable.
This is something I plan on going into more detail on, but will take a while. I just spotted their recent change of heart on phil, which seems to me likely another form of enabling.

Dr Phil is hardly alone. The founder of nuerolinguistic programming (NLP) which forms the basis of all life coaching today is psychologist called Bandler who was a drug addict and murdered his prostitute girlfriend but managed to stay out of jail after he paid for a good lawyer.
Much closer to Dr Phil would be Uta Frith and her free advertising from the Royal Society.
Well true, the APA should perhaps distance themselves but perhaps that close relationship predates Dr Phil's foray into sexual assault
well actually, all of this was before his anointing by the APA, and Dr Phil was not convicted of Sexual Assault, but im sure he had a very good lawyer. In fact he is a forsenic psychologist who could probably do well as a lawyer himself.
Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists (1988)
On October 21, 1988, the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists determined that McGraw had hired a former patient for "part-time temporary employment".[51] Specifically, the board cited "a possible failure to provide proper separation between termination of therapy and the initiation of employment",[52] issued a letter of reprimand and imposed administrative penalties.[53] The board also investigated claims made by the patient of inappropriate contact initiated by McGraw, but the "Findings of Fact" document issued by the board on October 21, 1988, at the end of its investigation includes no reference to any physical contact of any kind. It specifically identified "the therapeutic and business relationships" as constituting McGraw's sole issue with the board.[53] McGraw fulfilled all terms of the board's requirements, and the board closed its complaint file in June 1990.[54]
Weight loss products (2003)
In 2003, McGraw lent his name and image to a line of nutritional supplements, including vitamin packets, meal replacement drinks, and power bars under the brand name Shape Up, under a licensing agreement with CSA Nutraceuticals, a Texas start-up. The deal stipulated that a certain percentage of sales would be given to the Dr. Phil Foundation, a Dallas charity that works on issues like childhood obesity.[18] CSA Nutraceuticals stopped producing the supplements in 2004, after the Federal Trade Commission began investigating it for false advertising.[55] Three disappointed consumers filed a lawsuit in 2004, claiming that it made false or unproven claims.[56] In 2006 a $10.5 million settlement was reached.[57]
McGraw was inducted into the Broadcasting & Cable Hall of Fame in 2015.[84] In 2020 he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.[85] McGraw was invited to give the presidential address at the 2006 annual convention of the American Psychological Association, where he received the APA’s Presidential Citation for “highlighting mental health issues” to “more Americans than any other living psychologist.”[86][87]

Not so much anymore. Like most things in America, they have become politicized.
Now should I need professional help I have got to worry if the clinician is going to assume my main problem is that I am a privileged white male who is too stupid to realize my systematic privileges. Should I be in such a vulnerable state that I need their services that is the last thing I need.
