I know this post is seven years old now, but by this definition you probably mean "character trait," correct? A moral is a statement or "dictum" of ethical behavior (e.g., "Thou shalt not kill"). Anyways, my best moral would be "Live life circumstantially, developing your improvisational and decision-making skills," which I believe to be one of the hardest things people can do. I've derived this from the meta-ethics of Absurdism (which teaches that life is absurd and the universe is constantly at odds with us, and there's nothing we can do about that). The ethics that I use to justify this are:
1) Reality is consistently different from expectation
(So learn to improvise)
2) Everything is meaningless, including suicide
(So learn to live)
3) Each situation, every moment in time, is unique
(So try not to cling to any "across-the-board" ideologies that you can use to meet every situation in life)
As far as a character trait goes, I'd have to say "Authenticity" for me.
