Heh, thanks to PCness, white people are white peoples' worst enemy.

You forgot the Vikings and other white-on-white raping and pillaging and "to the victor belong the spoils." But those examples probably don't further your argument too effectively. This is a problem of humanity and no one's underpants are clean on the topic.

I've mentioned white-on-white slavery/oppression several times through this thread. Although I mainly intended to focus on other races oppressing whites, as it's a statement against PCness, to show that other races have been equally as animalistic and evil as whites have been, and that whites too can be victims of racist oppression, and that demonizing whites to such an extent as the PC loonies out there do is just plain irrational..... But I haven mentioned white-on-white oppression several times though. I'm definately not trying to say that whites are perfect angels. But we're no different than any other race.

What a coincidence. The featured article on Wikipedia is about slavery in ancient Greece.

Anyway, if you want to be taken seriously, you probably shouldn't link to American Renaissance. They're a well-known white supremacist group. I know that there were white slaves, but I don't really trust an article from a white supremacist site.

I did not know they were a white supremacist group. The problem I find though is the only whites willing to stick up for whites are racist groups like stormfront, KKK, neo nazi's, and those are **NOT** the people whites need representing us.
It's similar in some ways too with black pride groups, they don't have many positive leaders anymore either. The only one I can think of is Bill Cosby.... But the only difference between Nation of Islam and KKK, is that one is a black supremacist group and one is a white supremacist group.
But our culture fosters more lenience and acceptance of racism among minorities against whites. If your ethnic and your racist, your "proud of your heritage". If your white and your proud of your heritage, your "racist".


I did since strong fundamentalist overtones in the article, but I pushed that aside due to the fact that religion and race are usually historically connected, and whites were for the most part a Christian people (for the most part). And the stand-off between Christianity and Islam has long been around even in ancient times so it's not hard to believe there would be some religious persecution as well.
I myself am not christian, or muslim, honestly I think it's absurd to try and say who started the whole crusades deal. At this point it doesn't even matter, both sides need to stop hating and destroying. You can throw Israel in there too, though most Christian nations usually take sides with Israel. But religious wars need to stop too though.
But ultimately, I wish the categorization by race, religion, etc would just stop, I wish race would just become a non-factor. And gender only be a factor in picking dates (naturally a straight person will want someone of the opposite sex, gays want someone of the same sex).

People shouldn't speak up for "white people", or "black people" but for just people in general. Don't worry about the race; if human rights are being violated then SPEAK OUT. Whites and Blacks can both be victims of oppressors and that's why both groups are equal.

I thought this post was going to be about american taxpayers being turned into slaves or how woman have enslaved men in this country through taxes and court orders.

Reactions to slavery occur in a particular context. In the United States, that context is a form of slavery that involved whites enslaving blacks, and it resulted in generations being treated brutally, denied education and property rights, etc. Many conservatives think it is enough simply to stop hurting that race, and things will immediately be fine. Were it only so simple - the effects of slavery linger on.

So...... Basically this gives them the right to beat, rob, kill, and terrorise innocent white people today? Do you not consider Nation of Islam racist and dangerous? All it is is a black KKK. Do you support Al Sharpton, Farakhan, Jesse Jackson? Why is that any different in principal than supporting David Duke? Or Mark Furhman? Racism is racism dude, you've got absolutely no compassion for white victims. You are totally heartless towards white victims. Do you understand you are basically ignoring innocent human beings (don't focus on their color, focus on their humanity, stop being an uncle tom) being victimized?
Stop making excuses, that's all you PC people do is make excuses. Have a damn heart. Hell it may be you getting lost and wandering through the projects one day. And I don't think they'll care how much you hate other white people, or how much you hate yourself for being white.

Some discrimination still goes on against blacks, namely in law enforcement, and it's wrong. It is wrong, period. Aside from a racist LE, most of the rest of it is exagerated now days, it's not nearly as bad for them as it was 30 or 40 yrs ago. Black people are getting good jobs now, climbing the ladder. If anything, arabs are the prime target of racism, ever since 9/11. If blacks really wanna fight racism now, they should really stop buying into this BET culture that teaches them that theyr only good enough to succeed by being a rapper, basketball player, or drug dealer. BET is ran by the corporate white people they talk about holding them down all the time.
You do understand that me standing up for arabs there, can be contextually seen in a similar light as a black man sticking up for a white man? I don't hold them responsible for the past though, they don't have any control of that, or even what other arabs do today.

Beating up "wh***y" is actually a regular ritual in ignitiation into black street gangs too. Don't say I'm stereotyping by admitting that --some-- black people get into gangs. Dude, let me tell you something here, there is not a race that does not have blood on their hands through the passage of history. There is no "good" race, only good individuals, and they can come from any race. Any race, including white people. There are good white people, there are bad white people, there are good black people and there are bad black people, you can say the same thing of any race dude. I'm not responsible for what other white people did 200 yrs ago. Arabs aren't responsible today for enslaving MY ancestors. There is a concept called sovereign individuality, meaning your only responsible as an individual for your own individual actions.

Also we're supposed to just let undocumented, uncharted people just come here and wreck our way of life just because theyr brown? And if we don't agree to being economically robbed, we're "racist"? I think that's abusing the race card dude.
What if an illegal immigrant murders someone? It's hard to convict a killer if there is no record of their existence. What if theyr on the run in Mexico for a violent crime? We wouldn't even know because we don't even know theyr here, we don't even know how many people live in our country now. To relegate illegal immigration to racism is to ignore the entire premise for having rules and organization in society. North American Union is a Red Herring. Look at the European Union. I would like to help Mexico too, but not in a way that hurts us. I prefer finding a neutral solution to the border crisis that can befefit both Mexicans and Americans, that begins by stopping NAFTA. The only reason you want to do it in a way that hurts us is because you repeat slogans and reverberate anything the democratic party tells you too. Your a parrot.

And the fact remains that illegal immigrants get free health care, while most citizens can't afford to see a doctor. explain that logic to me.

Slavery was a part of many, or maybe most, human societies at one time. I've got some books detailing the history of where I live, and there are references from extracts of old texts to slaves. That's white slaves with white masters. As far as Africa goes, I understand we just exploited a market that was already in existence. In fact, I really don't think we (as in Brits and Yanks) have anything to be ashamed of as we effectively abolished slavery over a hundred years ago. Of course, over in Africa they're still enslaving and killing each other as we speak, so I guess you could say that most black Americans should think themselves lucky.

Sorry Chav but I'd have to agree with Aridarr here. I've seen some pretty ignorant aspies.. I'd also be critical of science, as I am critical of everything. Don't get me wrong, science is the ultimate art of explaining things, but how do you know your getting good science? How do you know the science we're taught isn't ever tampered? Who'se paying the scientists? What agenda might they serve? Don't forget NAZI scientists passing eugenics into society, nobody questioned it at the time.

Yes, Farakan is a racist. I have denounced him here, and elsewhere. The fact that there are black racists does not erase the fact that racism in the US has been predominantly perpetrated by the white community, and that the non-white community has been massively victimized.

I don't hate myself for being white. I have no guilt for my skin color or my actions. On the other hand, as a member of a corporation called the United States of America, I feel that the corporation should take responsibility for past injustices it took (whose consequences are quite visible today), and it should take some action to remedy those.

You are mis-informed. Hospitals are required to provide emergency services to all people, regardless of their legal status or ability to pay. When someone is having a heart attack or has a severed limb, they treat that person. So all people have the same low-level of health care available to them. Very few illegal immigrants have free high quality health care.
