no one forgot that. chronic users (i.e. junkies/substance abusers) of any drug illegal or w/e can expect a bad experience no one has bothered stating that (before you) because its pretty damn obvious.

Thank you for saying so. Just because something is obvious doesn't mean it's obvious to everybody.

yeah, i guess that is true.

THC crystals (the actual "drug" in cannabis) are present whatever you do to it... there's no need to do any of this fancy-arse burning/cooking stuff to eat it :)

If you want to eat dope, just eat it... although I'd suggest putting it on food because it tastes awful.

...I voted alcohol by the way - being stoned just makes me feel lazy and s**t.

.

Theres lots of different drugs in cannabis.

Eating raw weed isnt a good idea because it can upset some people digestive systems. Its also highly inefficient - decarboxylation, emulsification etc are all done for a purpose- people been studying this for centuries ;)

How much are you paying for the stuff? "Eat weed. If it doesn't do much, eat more"... it seems like a big pain in the arse to do all this preparation to squeeze every last drop of whatever you can from it.

Most drugs will upset your digestive system, it's just part of taking drugs! Whether it's a bit of a dicky stomach from too much wine the night before, or needing the toilet before you come up from amphetamines or not being able to eat after pills... it's just what happens.

Besides, smoking/eating resin is the answer - green is awful anyway. (You don't see heroin addicts injecting poppy seeds!)

NB. I've been thinking about resin this whole time we've been talking about cannabis - I don't touch green. Icky.

standard rates are £20/3.5g.

Most available weed is grown indoors - for some reason it has very little THC in it, but lots of THCA. THCA so im told is barely worth eating - you can smoke/vap it because the heat turns converts it into the active form (THC). This is the reason for decarboxylation if you want to take it orally. Then (with advanced recipes) youve got the possibilities of isomerization - the ability to transform standard indica-dominant (cheap) weed into a connoiseur grade extract with a clear heady sativa-type profile.

In short, id rather spend an hour or so producing a quality and versatile product that has the same (or close) potency as the equivalent amount smoked, starts working within minutes. that having to eat 4-6 times the amount and then wait for ages.

I suppose we just have difference tastes - i ENJOY researching and trying out new stuff :)

pot is, by far, the safer choice between the two.

unfortunately, the american government profits much more right now from having pot be illegal and they can keep those profits whereas if it were to be made legal, they'd have to share the profits with the american people and quite possibly the world.

Pot doesn't make me puke, but alcohol doesn't make me miserably uber-retarded.

you know doug stanhope put it best.

the people who vote on drug laws are one of two kinds of people: the kind who have never done drugs or the kind who sucked at doing drugs and had bad experiences.

i'd hope that if you're forced to relegate your life to sober living, you'd not wish to remove my right to enjoy drugs just because i got lucky enough to be able to enjoy them without major consequences.

I would never vote period.
I like marijuana, believe me, but many people think I regress on it.

I just hope that there isn't another hippy movement like there was 40-50 years ago. Now thanks to Timothy Leary, we have a shit-ton of Republicans running our lives today..

we already have a couple...look at the neo-cons and the college-age democrats. they're both hippies who live in fantasy worlds and are entirely disconnected from reality.

Well, I just hope that there is stability in the ranks at some point, and not bribed-insatiable politicons. Basically another name for a republican.

But I do agree with most, that if everyone tried a little greenery, the world would be a better place.
