regardless of whether I believe in it or Not! So look: If you can SHOW me what your God can do, I eagerly await the results!!
I really just love that quote you included. How original, how intelligent
.So just how exactly do I become a *man* and be *unvelied from God*?

For a start, you can grow up. Mature into a man and stop mean a mean little boy. Honestly, why would anyone fight so hard for something like this? This is your little crusade, to torpedo the existence of God. You can just say you don't believe and be done with it. Be unveiled, not just to God, but to everyone.
NOPE
Seriously, what part about The burden of proof rests on the ones making the claim dont you understand???
I'll tell you one thing though, blind faith is a concept that is MEANINGLESS to me. If God exists, why cant God-or even one of his followers demonstrate this for me? Truth is Objective and not subject you see. If God DOES exist than it shouldnt matter whether I believe in it or not when it comes to demostrating his existance. I am honestly more of an agnostic than an atheist. I am NOT Here to 'torpedo the existance' of God! Those who make a universal MUST prove their claims! Its really that simple

The reason that teachers are not allowed to present even questions as to the validity of the unproven theory of evolution is that many sad, angry, and bitter adults don't want children considering the possibility of God. God didn't come through for them, such adults reason, so they'll be damned if they're going to let their children believe in Him. It's all spiritual in motivation. They're bitter and resentful against God, and they're going to get him back by both straightly and implicitly telling kids not to believe in Him.
Can you show that this is more than your personal opinion?
Do you have a scientific theory better than evolution that you would want taught in school?
Do you understand the concepts of theory and proof, as they are used in the natural sciences and mathematics?
Do you know that there are religious people who have no trouble accepting evolutionary theory and who'd rather not have theology taught as natural science? They are counterexamples to your claim that "It's all spiritual in motivation". The same goes for the people without religious faith who are also motivated by a wish to distinguish between science and religion, not by objecting to religious faith itself. Do you have any idea how many of them there are compared to the ones with the motivation you want to see?
Do you have any evidence for a connection between being sad, angry and bitter and not wanting children to consider the possibility of God? More than anecdotes which you yourself would not accept as evidence for something you disagreed with?
The original question was what are your objections against evolution, not what are your objections against the motives of those who think evolution is a scientific theory that has a place in science classes. Do you have anything to say about the original question?

Evolution and Creation should be taught side-by-side if the kids are to make meaningful choices.
When you say "side-by-side", do you mean either both taught as science, or both taught as myth, or both taught as theology? I would find that inappropriate because evolution is a scientific theory, but creationism is not. And if you want to teach a creation story, there is also the question which one. The Hindu creation story is very different from the Christian creation story. There are hundreds of them. How would you choose?

Man, you are bitter. It's a dangerous subject because it can make the kids think & form their own worldviews. Evolution and Creation should be taught side-by-side if the kids are to make meaningful choices. Mad, sad, angry Ragtime is more likely.
And I'm still awed at how much you hate the church.

This post really confuses me -- what are you saying?
I'm not bitter, I'm reporting that other people are bitter. What about that made you think I was bitter?
I have no reason to be bitter, because there will be no bitter God-deniers in Heaven like there are
teaching America's classrooms.
And where did you get the idea that I hate the church? I'm a member of the church.
Your 2nd and 3rd sentences make perfect sense, but the rest is a mystery.

I'm aware that not all religious people oppose evolution as a valid theory, but for those that do, what are your thoughts on dinosaur fossils, for instance? How do you explain it?
On a side note, I'd just like to say that I'm not bashing beliefs here, I respect people who have religious beliefs that I do not share.

excuse my smartassism here but if you're inviting anti-evolutionists to this thread, wouldn't it be kinda pointless to include evolution? i mean wouldn't it instead either be a combo or just straight unfiltered creationism?

To put it bluntly: I don't care. I am not here to convert you. If you don't think He exists, then go ahead believing that. You're not affecting my beliefs. There is no burden placed on me.
Oh, truth isn't always objective.
