no. it means noble. historically, the aryans were a culture of peoples who invaded india from the north and "civilised" the area.

Did they invade or did they migrate? Who knows. I highly doubt the people who entered what is northern India came in chariots of war to kill its Dravidian people. The theory as far as I'm aware was proposed mainly because of the languages and certain passages in the Rg veda.
Besides, in my post I was explaining the Stormfront's interpretation of the word Aryan. I am well aware of what Arya means.
I still say Arya is just a title, and not actually a people. Unless of course you mean the Iranian people.

well i'm far from an expert but judging solely from what i've read it seems the consensus of opinion is that they invaded. you say you are well aware of what the word means, which is strange since in the post i quoted you stated that the word always means nordic. however, carry on...

Because you aren't paying attention to context. Here, I'll help you out since I'm feeling alright.
Original Quote:

I've visited Stormfront countless of times and their beliefs are as crazy as afrocentrists when it comes to history. Aryans (note that Aryan always means Nordic) came and settled into Egypt? An Aryan taught the mesoamericans how to build the Pyramids? Whaaaaaat?
Break Down I:

Stormfront (A White Supremacist Website)'s . . . beliefs are crazy . . . when it comes to history.
Break Down II
Quote:
Aryans (note that Aryan always means Nordic {to a White Supremacist}) came and settled into Egypt (Which shows how ridiculous their beliefs in history is)?
Now read all of it again:

Hmm???
Oh and there is no consensus on it which is why it is still called a theory, along with the Aryan Migration Theory. There hasn't been much evidence to believe that "Aryans" came into the region, deposed the "Dravidians" to Chandala status, taught the good ones Sanskrit and Hinduism, and finally taking the whole region by force to become one happy quad-caste family.

Based on my reading it was the typical "barbarians munching on the carcass of a dead civilization and then taking over" pattern, the carcass being the Indus Valley Civilization. IIRC it was eastern Indo-European peoples (speakers of Proto-Indo-Iranian) in Central Asia around 2000BC that invented the war chariot. The Indo-Iranian speakers who stayed in Central Asia and SW Russia became the Scythians.
IIRC the Sanskrit word "Arya," and the Greek word "Aristos" (as in aristocracy) come from the same Proto-Indo-European root "Aryos" meaning "noble" or "virtuous" and seems to have been an ethnic self-label (tribal peoples tend to label themselves with terms like "the noble and good people" and label their neighbors with derogatory terms) that turned into a class or caste label

The Harappan culture was on decline (or rather declined) before it was absorbed by the Arya. I haven't heard anything lately on it being considered an invasion, something which was heavily proposed during Indian colonization. From the sources that I read, it was just centuries of intermixing/mingling between the original inhabitants and the newer. How extensive were the Aryans in taking over? I'm pretty sure they just became swallowed into what is now India which is reflective on the people's dna.
Barrack Obama is not an official Aryan (remaining on topic)

Peebo, what oscuria means is that within the white nationalist mythos, the term 'aryan' is equated with the stereotypical 'nordic' phenotype. This usually means tall, physically hardy, blond hair, blue eyes, and a light complexion. He's pointing out that white nationalists mythologize their ideological roots in order to justify their positions on racial/ethnic relations today.
Here is Snopes debunking the myth.
