Don't forget Mac users.

Hahaha!

Mac users...they're such a pain in the ass.

Agree. Totally.

I suffered this unpleasant experience all through high school. Made harder to 'shut the door' in a manner of speaking because
a) they were my classmates and I couldn't help seeing them every day,
b) I stuck around with those people when they weren't trying to convert me because I was so scared of not having any friends, and
c) many of the teachers were also of the same persuasion, therefore turned a blind eye to it.

My husband's always found that telling Jehovah's Witnesses that you're a Pagan is the quickest way to send them running back down the garden path. On the other hand, he once had some Latter Day Saints come to the door who were intrigued by what he believed, came in for a cup of tea and spent most of the time listening to him!

All you need is a clealy marked sign on your door or mailbox:

NO SOLICITORS PLEASE

Remember, a Jehovah's Witness is a salesman first and foremost. You are the sale.

Hey, I have relatives who are Jehova's Witnesses, and they never tried converting me.
In fact, they are the nicest people.

Almost as much of a pain as having someone's opinion that my personal belief system (which I don't disseminate to the general public unless it's specifically solicited) is supposedly "superstitious clap trap" rubbed in my face all the time...

PS: No, I'm not a Jehovah's witness, I'm a mainstream Presbyterian...

Exactly dittoes what ToS said. Including the part about being a mainstream Prebyterian. "Frozen chosen" FTW!

I'd say the Mac people are the most evangelical, but the Linux/Unix people are the most condescending.

There's one stirring up trouble in the Comps, math, sci and tech forum not. Pat666rick is his name. Mainly bashing on Linux, though, but he is somewhat combining Mac fanaticism with Linux condescension and applying it to using Windows.

Ahhhhh that is my point! I bet you dont get this sort of comment regularly, unfortunately for those of use that believe in reason and science we have to put up with the god hypothosis on an hour to hour basis, a great many religious believers cant keep it to themselves and then get upset when they meet the occasional atheist.

Honestly though, Jehova's Witnesses are really great people especially for not having any holidays. Imagine that (well, I don't pratice holidays anyway, but that's different!)

As far as Jehovah's Witnesses go, when they try to convert me...

"I'm a Satanist. I'm about to sacrafice a cat to a demon, would you like to join me?" :P

I'm really not, but anything to get them away and keep them away!
