No. This is the PSEUDO-insult thread, after all! The prefix "pseudo-" means "false", so all I have to do is state a simple fact in an obfuscated way, and it only seems like an insult.

Thus, replace the word "masticate" with the phrase "chew your food", and the entire insult comes comes down to "you make noises when you chew your food." This is because the word "masticate" means "to grind or crush (food) with or as if with the teeth; to chew."

Gawd, how I hate having to explain a joke...
