you can feel? i doubt animals know there about to be somebodys lunch on the plains of africa if there a anteloupe there just going through the motions. naturally i think some animals can feel though like the smart ones like dolphines. but this isnt the norm, the thing that i think makes us human, is all of our complex emotions. (obviously aspies have a hard time with complex emotions so maybe we are more like the anteloupe Wink ) j/k. i think aspergers brain is highly evolved much like Et's
I think many animals are very alert to their surroundings and are on the lookout for danger.
They work hard to stay alive. If humans were classified as being an ape, perhaps we would see ourselves in a more realistic light. The fact that we are not put in the ape family and have our own distinct categorization shows that we are biased and cannot scientifically view the animal kingdom with impartiality.
As for the asperger's brain being more like the ET's brain, I just wanted to say that even though aspies typically are non-feeling, the ET's also appear to be non-feeling.
However, the more one gets to know the alien, the more he/she realizes how elevated and refined their emotional state is and that the capacity for love is profoundly deep.
They just don't care about petty feelings so they can be seen as cruel or uncaring. The ET's are like the zen master who puts his student through torture so that he/she may receive enlightenment. I heard of one zen master whos student believed he was abducted by aliens and he was very upset about the experience. The master said that 15 minutes with those beings is akin to having practiced 15 years of meditation.
