The abductions don't take place in ordinary reality. The abductees did not really leave their beds it seems. Nevertheless, the experience/experiment is real on some level.

We each have individual standards of judging reality. Evidently ours differ considerably.

That does seem to be the point that the aliens are trying to get across, the fact that our views of reality need to shift in order to communicate with them. They exist in another dimension right here.

I don't know though. It's interesting. However, this Phil Schneider video is different from all the cases of alien contact that I've heard about. He seems to have been a meat and potatoes kind of guy. He just didn't seem to have a pliable mind. He was a soldier and maybe he fought the experience and suffered like a victim. Many contactees start out as paranoid from the experience and only much later when they come to grips with this new reality, they come out transformed. Many people don't want to change their whole belief structure. It's a form of death. However, I wouldn't want to cling to something that doesn't last because if it doesn't last, it's not really real then.

You seem to be convinced that these aliens are not travelers from another star system but come from different universes. This is so far out of normal experience that there is no way a rational being can deal with it and I will not try.

So...to ask you believe that aliens are really angels or demons or gods and goddesses would be totally out of the question?

It's not a matter of "out of the question". Angels and demons and Gods all have human characteristics out of legend which are a part of the traditions. Beings from totally different universes should be understood as being totally alien and not to be faced as some variety of super powerful humanity. You cannot reason or deal with gravity or high tension electricity or radioactivity on the same basis as you deal with a variety of human. A totally different approach is necessary for safety and understanding. Whatever they may be, they certainly (if they exist) are NOT gods or demons or angels and must be dealt with on that basis.

Imagine how funny it would be if the Bilderberg Group were to turn upto a meeting wearing alien costumes just to mess with the heads of these people.

Rick Schrieber claimed that the NWO is headed by evil alien followers. It would make sense if the Republican party were Satan worshipers. I can imagine Dick Cheyne drinking blood from a goblet. How else could someone go through with killing so many people for profit? Have you ever looked in his beady little eyes? I never trusted that guy.

Also, Rick Schrieber claimed that the alien that works for the government has an IQ of around 1200 and hasn't aged in over 50 years. He said that the alien is an amazing man and seemed to admire him, yet if someone is so smart don't you think they would be wise enough to know that killing and stealing are wrong?

However, what he said doesn't add up. Even though he seems to believe what he says, the aliens have a tendency to show themselves in a way that would make a person look foolish is he/she were to honestly recount the incident. The contactee is left having to try to analyze the experience and fit it into reality. The more he/she tries to make it fit, the more absurd it becomes. The fundamental lesson it seems that the aliens are trying to teach, is to let go of all materialist principles so that our minds can expand to this other dimension.

Or comprehend that our own particular set of dimensions has potentials most dull minds cannot grasp.

My own suspicion is that the universe is not only queerer than we suppose, but queerer than we can suppose.

You are aware, of course, that the requirements to post a video on YouTube make the requirements to edit Wikipedia look onerous. In order to post a YouTube video, you need a) a video; b) a broadband Internet connection; and c) the ability to follow simple instructions. The only reasons the YouTube hosts will delete a video are for blatant copyright violation, and hardcore pornography.

There is no peer review, there is no documentation required - hell, your arguments don't even have to make sense (there's one in there now claiming that mass is spontaneously generated inside existing matter, causing everything in the universe to become more massive, but we don't notice because we're becoming more massive too, and so are our measuring instruments...). Basing your views and arguments off YouTube videos, no matter how intriguing, is similar to looking for important life guidelines in video games and slasher movies.

I can assure you, however, that if there were charismatic aliens with 1200 IQs visiting Earth, they would scarcely have to resort to a plot so labyrinthine as this NWO silliness in order to take over - assuming they had the least interest in doing so at all. (I still like the description, in one David Brin short, of First Contact with exactly that sort of alien: "They had no more interest in seizing our grubby little planet than a university professor might swoop down to steal a small child's ball.")

DeaconBlues, I don't think you understand my speculation.

As for youtube, who cares that there is no peer review. Sure it's a commie network.
I like to do my own research. Just because something is made into a video doesn't mean it carries authoritative weight. I like youtube because it contains videos of talks and seminars and makes them free for everyone to watch. Only a pseudo intellectual would put down this commie network.

It's good to know that a real intellectual like yourself appreciates unfounded speculation and occasional delightful nonsense.

Yet a great deal of credence has been placed in a rather silly hypothesis, starting with your own opening post, simply because it was in a YouTube video. When someone else attempted to point out that YouTube is hardly a reliable source, he was dismissed as "elitist" (I'm still not sure why it's a bad thing to believe that the smartest people should be listened to on important matters, but there you go).

For that matter, this discussion has veered afield into the Atlantis myth, and a misreading of Plato's work on the subject. (For the record, Plato wrote of Atlantis as being a mysterious island kingdom located out in the Great Sea, later called the Atlantic in its honor, which sank beneath the waves. Many historians believe his tales were loosely based on what was then seen as the great wealth of the Minoan civilization, which was destroyed when the volcano at Thera exploded, sending a massive tidal wave through the Mediterranean basin; the Minoans, whose capital was on the island of Minos, were a seafaring group, and lived in coastal towns. Their wealth was indeed great, by early Bronze Age standards. However, it was neither as rich nor as powerful as the kingdom described by Plato. It is also believed that Plato placed his Atlantis out in the Great Sea because when reading the legends, he screwed up his math by a factor of 10 while calculating its location.)

And Edgar Cayce was a fraud and a grifter, who can be safely ignored when discussing real-world matters.

Really, folks, cracking a few books instead of relying on the Internet for everything can be quite helpful...

Murphy's Razor topic

If the simplest thing could happen, it probably will. But this is a two edged sword. :P

Human hisory is full of gaps, for example the origin of the universe. Now how did this all transpire? Intelligent design (Creationism)? Aliens? Waldo? Or maybe all this is an illusion and we are all dreaming?

The best way is to find a simple explanation for a complex event and stick with it. This is the basis of urban myths, religion, alien encounters (and flying saucers). Find a simplified conspiracy theory like the NWO. Simple. This is the CAUSE, the unified singularity.

This is what humans do. We fill in the gaps of knowledge with what ever is simple and understandable. It is also inaccurate, often lacking in common sense, but it serves a craving for comprehending the unknown. And most people will not stop doing this, and make excuses for continuing to develop explanations for ongoing mysteries.

I always read an unwritten line at the bottom of these Youtubes and articles: For Entertainment Purposes Only. The print should be bigger for all to see.

I like to do my own speculating Sand. DeaconBlues, despite what you may think, I have cracked a few books open in my life.

Edgar Cayce was not a fraud. How much do you actually know about him? Did you read a blurb on the internet and as soon as you saw the word "psychic" you dismissed him? Have you read his bio? He chose to live a simple life and was not a rich scammer.
There are thousands of cases where he instructed people on how to heal themselves.
He spoke in his sleep. Here is another example of how pseudo intellectual elitists dismiss something that doesn't fit into their already paid for belief system.

Whether or not Phil Schnieder is telling the truth, it seems to me that he believed he was telling the truth. Just because the video is on the lowly commoner's channel, the fact is that he was a real person in real life. He wasn't invented for entertainment purposes.
