Perfection is such an undefinable quality that positing a perfect being probably conjures up a different entity in each person that conceives it. Assuming a perfect being is perfectly aware of all its actions and consequences it is totally illogical it could create such a chaotic social creature as a human being. The obvious fact of human imperfection would deny it as being created by a perfect being.

Damn! you beat me to it. By the rationale of religionists that god is perfect it would mean that we too would need to be perfect, otherwise god cannot be perfect. So either

a. god is imperfect and made us in his image.
b. god is perfect and therefore some thing other than god created us.
c. god does not exist.

I'm pantheistic here. I belive that God is Energy. Two different terminologies, same concept.

If god is energy, what is matter?

Energy & matter are ultimately the same thing, aren't they?

That's vaguely like saying humidity and a block of ice are the same thing.
