Mice can re-absorb their embryos under certain conditions. As can rabbits. If you can catch 'em, you can arrest 'em.

They also eat their stillborn or, in cases of overpopulation, eat unwanted babies....

Okay, well what about the headless chicken? No brain, just electrical activity. There are different avenues of approach you could take to support your platform, this one is not very wise as there will be professionals or people with knowledge of biology that will counter you. Not that you would care, as even doctors and biologists have been unable to convince you of anything. I'm not really interested in going through this argument for the third time with you

So lets look at the humble bivalve mollusc [eg the green lipped muscle - a local yummy].

It is a multi cell organism, it responds to basic stimulations [tides, intrusions into it's shell while open and feeding], it has a nervous system etc, however is it sentient?

As an aside but on topic, I find the 'right to lifers' who aren't vegan absurd as their arguments that are not religiously based don't stack up with how they live. I also find the 'right to lifers' who own guns or justify war - outside of rediculous religious prejudice - well, rediculous.

Again false equivalency, having a gun to protect oneself is to protect oneself from an individual that chooses to threaten you. War can be justified in certain instances, such as Israel is perfectly justified to defend themselves. An infant is completely innocent from any crime, we don't see viscious ax murderers crawling around in diapers because they can't stand up yet.

The Right to Life Ends at Birth

Apparently, bringing up any other species (that have essentially identical systems that are merely configured in different ways) is a false equivalency. I'm so tired of this shifting goal post b.s., I don't know why anyone is even bothering here anymore. I humbly suggest people start posting stupid pictures to derail this thread, and I suggest to the administration that this topic be gagged, because it brings up hard talk, and accomplishes absolutely nothing
