If you follow the Bible, then you know that the answer depends on whether the woman is betrothed.

If the woman is neither betrothed nor married, then the rapist must marry her, and can never divorce her, as long as she lives.

If the woman is either betrothed or married, then the correct response is a quick stoning.

Unless the father is God the Father, in which case the cuckold must raise the child as his own, but keeping in mind that the child is in fact God the Son.

I thought you were an atheist, and now you are trying to use scripture against me, boy you must be desperate.

Huh? How was my use of scripture against you? :? Did you get some woman pregnant? 8O

Nope, I'm actually still a virgin.

The Bible doesn't actually command or recommend that males remain virgins. Go get some p**** already.

So? By not fooling around, I'm not going to get any girl pregnent, and I'm not going to have an STD. While you may love playing russian roulette, I actually don't like putting a gun to my head with a bullet in it and squeezing the trigger, hoping that the bullet isn't going to turn up. In fact, I think that is rather crazy.

So now you're calling me a dog, simply because I don't buy into your world view.

No. It wastes your time and annoys the dog.

Seriously, thank you for once again demonstrating why I have such a low opinion of the two of you. You haven't seen me running around comparing any of you to various animals.

Is that pronounced PIE-SHICKS?

Inuyasha already seems to be a master of pie-shicks. Indeed, he gives an excellent example of pie-shicks above.

Not sure I know what you are implying, and I am not sure I want to know.

Just to illustrate the Inuyasha Pie-Shick maneuver:

At that stage, it is less sentient than a turkey.
Yes, I have heard the trivia about brain cells before... along with the factoid that said cells have practically no connections, compared to a teen or adult brain. Yawn.

So now you're calling me a turkey.

Seriously, thank you for once again demonstrating why I have such a low opinion of you. You haven't seen me running around comparing any of you to various birds.

I have now, in my mind, won the debate, and can thence threaten to contact a moderator against my opponent for having compared me to a fowl.

Calling someone a turkey has more than one meaning.

Calling someone a dog is always an attempt to insult them.

Riiighttt....

Again, I don't recall equating anyone here to an animal. Acting like an animal maybe (specifically an ostrich), but I never equated anyone here to an animal.

I feel that it's the girl's decision as to what to do with the baby. Of course, if she's a minor, she is in no shape to take care of one. On the other hand, this is one of those situations in which even conservative Christians feel that abortion is permissible.

Yeah and let's see all the women that had sex irresponsibly claim they were raped cause they don't want to deal with the consequences of getting laid.

Abortion is being used as a form of birth control.

As one who has absolutely no interest in intimate contact with a member of the fairer sex: who are you to judge?

Since you have never in the past dismantled any source, I'd dare to say not.

I've dismantled what you guys call "sources" on multiple occasions, question is did you bother to read them? I will often at least look at the sources you guys sometimes post up (which you usually don't post any sources), I sincerely doubt you have ever glanced at any of the sources I've used.

Brilliant again! :hail: You're a true master of the pie-shick. :hail:

By the way, being equated to a dog isn't necessarily an insult. People who like dogs generally think highly of them. Many of their qualities (loyalty, obedience, protectiveness, cuddliness, uses as guide dogs, hunting dogs, St. Bernards, companion animals, etc.) are highly prized.

Being equated to a turkey: their best quality is that they are delicious.

Being compared to an ostrich--they are also delicious (very low fat, high nutritional value). They run very fast, and lay the biggest eggs in the world. Their feathers used to be used in hats. When you say that one of your enemies "acts like an ostrich", are you trying to imply that he or she runs very fast? Takes good care of his or her eggs? Or, what?

I'm implying they are pretending a problem doesn't exist and hoping it goes away.

As to the "dog" comments, it was clear they meant it in a derogatory fashion from what they said.

Thank you for showing once again why I have such a low opinion of liberals in general.

Yes because I do believe that the baby is a human from conception on and therefore should not be punished for what someone else did. Yes, I know that is horrible for the mother. Yes I know I just pissed off half of the universe. Adopt the kid away, hell I'll take 'em to save their life. I would not want to be executed because my father raped and neither should that child.

Ostriches don't do that. Not even the Bible implies that ostriches behave in this fashion. You will find nothing in the Bible, nor in any serious biology text, to support your stance on ostriches.

Maybe you're just jumping to conclusions again.

Dude, you realize I do have a college degree, and Ostriches weren't exactly a common animal in the Middle East.

Knowing you and a few others here, I seriously doubt that.

Yes they were, or there wouldn't be any point in Jews prohibiting themselves from eating them. What your college taught you about ostriches is completely false.

The brain does turn reality into dreams

If your "low opinion of liberals in general" results from the fact that liberals are so much smarter than you, this would appear in my dreams only as a result of the reality of the situation.
