Are autistics conservatives or liberals?

I lean towards the right, being a hardworking individual. I’d rather clean toilets than be on a benefit, but that’s just who I am.
As an aspie who works, I fail to see how having a financial safety net is a bad thing. That's one Liberal thing I'm definitely in agreement with as I'd rather be able to rest assured my needs are taken care of if I should need extra assistance than not. Sure, that means paying a little more in taxes, but peace of mind costs money, so the opposition to that is one Conservative standpoint that I don't understand. Besides, Conservatives are a bunch of hypocrites who are against stuff like that until they themselves need it, and then they're suddenly thankful for it. Also, they support frivolous spending on things like even more military defense but support cuts to actual practical stuff like infrastructure and even education? WTF?I lean towards the right, being a hardworking individual. I’d rather clean toilets than be on a benefit, but that’s just who I am.
I don’t like the way people abuse benefits. It’s just completely wrong. It should only be an option as a last resort for an average (not sick) person. You get losers here who are too lazy to work, who lie and steal, they’re disgusting.
People will find ways to abuse any system. It's human nature. I don't like it when corporate piss-brains run off with millions of dollars of the company's profits, subsequently screwing over thousands of employees, but that doesn't mean I think capitalism shouldn't exist.

As someone who lives in harsh conditions and is quite happy to go without to save, I think how little effort and sacrifice some people offer society quite embarrassing.
But I’m extremely hard on myself and other people. I’m a very, very hard working, honest and sacrificing person.

Thanks, but I've worked very hard in my life, and that is not negated by the fact I currently only work part time.
Don't make ridiculous as tions about people you know nothing about.
I’m pretty sure I didn’t make any assumptions about you. The people I am talking about, I’m not assuming. I know.
I’m also pretty sure I never said benefits shouldn’t exist.
I also don’t remember saying all people who work part time are lazy.
You’re basically taking what I said and choosing to apply it to yourself.
I’m allowed to be angry at lazy a***holes. You’re allowed to be angry at capatilists.
It doesn’t mean it’s said as an attack on other people posting their opposite opinions.
No, but the implication was fairly clear. Autism is a disability. People who receive benefits due to their autism aren't doing it just because they're "uncomfortable" working.
I've about had it with some folks assuming invisible disabilities are merely a matter of "trying harder" to over-come them.
No, the “implication” wasn’t “clear”. I was letting off steam about people I described stealing from me. You’re preaching to the choir, lady. Do you think I’m neorotypical? Do you think I have it easy? Do you think my life doesn’t make me suicidal? Clearly you do, or you wouldn’t be giving me some ridiculous “education” like I don’t live it.

Actually, I don't care either way.
Your implication was that us autistics who don't work "full-time" are doing it purely as a matter of "comfort." That's nonsense. Invisible disabilities are just as valid as visible ones.
I work my a$$ off. Don't make assumptions.

More incivility, personal attacks, and belittling.
Good thing you're not a conservative.

Rubbish.
I totally get why some people say this. Politics is a hot button topic, and so some people give up on it.
In my previous posts, I have demonstrated that Bernie Sanders is a good guy. So is Noam Chomsky.
If you want to abandon politics, that's fine with me ... but if you want to convince me that there are no good political people, you will have to try much harder.
Even people who claim to be "non-political" will usually agree that Abraham Lincoln was a good person. Am I seriously supposed to believe that there were good politicians in the 19th century, but there are no good politicians today?

Same here. I actually think I find politics intriguing, but I dislike the whole party mentality. Of course, I'm not in support of random celebrities running the show either, as we are seeing in the States, so I think I do actually appreciate politicians to an extent as people who are qualified for their job. I also understand the need to have political parties. I just dislike that no matter who we vote for, we get someone overly paid who acts like they understand the needs of the middle and lower class but in reality has their own agenda to line either their own pockets or those of their sponsors. The party mentality just creates this sense of "us vs them" where it is believed that only those of one given ideology can be satisfied at any given time. Also, swearing loyalty to one party and blindly voting for them no matter what leads to all sorts of people getting in, for better or worse. So, I vote for leaders, not parties. Heck, here in Canada party names are misnomers anyways, and the leader actually tends to have more effect on where they sit politically than you'd think. We still have people who vote on party lines, but we are also the most practical voters I've witnessed, who will vote one party in if we support them, but if they don't deliver we'll vote them out next time.
Still, I think even by Canadian standards I'm overly pragmatic. I sit slightly left of centre but that doesn't actually mean much when it comes to deciding who to vote for. The only reason I'm kind of hesitant to vote Conservative is we're seeing a lot of annoying Conservatives like those in the States come out of the woodwork here in Canada and I really don't want those people to get what they want as they're just so annoying. I'll still vote based on who I think is most qualified though...

Can we liberals expect civility from you conservatives? My experience is that the answer is no. As I said, pay your taxes and shut the f**k up.
^ Stop provoking and trolling.
Despite what you may think, you don't have a right to post on this forum.
If you continue to behave like a child, I'll boot you. And I'll happily boot all of your other sock-puppet accounts that can't follow the rules.

She's right. I've read your many posts. You are a provocateur. You just love to start s**t and stir the pot. It's like you get off on it. My advice Raptor quit masturbating to Trump's pic and words and think for yourself. See everyone! This is the only way to deal with Trump Supporters. When they fling a turd don't use logic dump a whole dump truck worth of s**t on them.
I bet Raptor is this guy.
