What is wrong with you people? How can you stand to live with yourselves?

Please, someone just close this thread. I don't want to hear anymore.

I'm not insane, no. You're the one who thinks Obama had Scalia murdered so he could push through air pollution measures. That's a position much closer to insanity than mine. I was just considering the 'why' of it, which (again) you posit as the air pollution measures, and ran with that. Scalia's death could save thousands, indeed millions, of lives. In the big picture, Scalia's death could be a good thing. There's no two ways about it.

But no, I don't think Obama had Scalia murdered. I think Scalia died because that's sometimes what happens to overweight 79 year old men considered 'too weak' for surgery.

BS! You can't go back on your words now. They're in black and white. So go waste someone else's time.

I do not go back on my words. Here they are:

Here's one for you: with Scalia gone, measures against air pollution can be brought in and many lives will be improved and saved. It was an ethical decision akin to the assassination of a tyrannical dictator, and Obama was right to take it.

It was a thought experiment, as was made clear by the context of my post. Rather than the fruitless back-and-forth as to whether or not Obama had Scalia killed, I thought we might try a different tack and take for argument that he had had Scalia offed, and consider the ethcial ramifications of it. One life sacrificed to save many is a common theme in ethics arguments.

But, to be clear, I do not think Obama had Scalia killed.

Thought experiment my ass. Just leave me alone and don't address me again. You've told me all I need to know.

it's because your arguments are based on superstitious thinking. it's true there's no evidence collected of his death. there's also no evidence of unicorns, or the invisible teapot orbiting the moon either.

Look Fubu or Fufu or whatever the hell name you have, don't start crap with me or I'm going to turn you in just like you turned in everybody else! Now get out of my face!

You're a hypocrite. You reported him for far less than anything he said to you. You told me so.

You don't like the opinions in this thread so you want it shut down? Why did you start the tread then anyway?

I just don't think Antonin Scalia really evoked that much passion in people. It wouldn't make sense to have had him assassinated.

My opinion: the family wanted privacy and closure. That's why they didn't want the autopsy.

Can we be absolutely certain he wasn't out hunting with Dick Cheney earlier in the day?

Cheney doesn't have very good aim and shot one of his hunting partners in the past.

If this got out, no one would go hunting with Cheney again.
