Most news organizations have concluded that the term 'illegals' is discriminatory, as have a lot of conservatives. I find it surprising that our ToS still tolerates it. Yep, I'm intolerant like that.

Illegal immigrant is only discriminatory against 'immigrants' that are in this country illegally as opposed to an immigrant who is here legally, that's the entire point. Maybe you reading discriminatory it makes your brain short circuit in 2017 but there are occasions where being discriminatory is necessary and immigration is one of them. People who broke the law to enter this country have no legal right to be here, they can plead their cases but the law is the law.

Spare me.

Tantrums? People could be deported because of Trump. Trump will cause an international disaster if he bombs ISIS.

If illegals get deported because of Trump, good for Trump.
ISIS is an international disaster.

Some these "illegals" have kids. Do we honestly want to split up families?
Another Thing: Bombing ISIS will make it worse.

Since when did Wrong Planet have so many neocons?

Don't you know; for conservatives immigrants are not human beings: at least that's seem the only thing that could explain their attitude toward them.

Calling illegals imigrants is like calling someone that broke into my house a resident.

Exactly.

I wonder who will do the harvesting after we deport the undocumented workers. I'm not sure our citizens would harvest for minimum wage, much less below it. We'll have to get comfortable with the idea of paying more at the produce isle it makes it there.

The Amish harvest their own crops, and charge reasonable prices. I personally recommend Blessing Acres Produce in Ohio. Their onions in particular are awesome fresh from the field. Better get first dibs on the corn early ... that sells out fast.

And when I was growing up in Western New York, I enjoyed harvesting my own u-pick raspberries at a local farm. Good times, good fruit, good prices.

Somehow, we'll survive. 8)

Do you quite honestly think the Canadian government would let them all move over there illegally? Canada won't even allow attempts at legal immigration in most cases from what I hear.

We'll survive alright, but I'm still expecting a price hike when this is all over. I eat a wide variety of produce, even if the Amish were here, they'd need to sell more than onions and corn. There's also the question of who would do the harvesting, I can't imagine workers wanting to be paid minimum wage, but I can't imagine growers wanting to pay more.

I'm as anti-PC as the next conservative. I'm pretty radically so, in fact.

And when I hear about "microaggressions," I feel like I want to get "micro" upon the person talking about it LOL

But there still remains, at times, ignorant and stupid instances of discrimination on the basis of many things.

I wonder if they had those same concerns over slavery being abolished.

Maybe the big corporate farms should go out of business if they can't survive without illegal labor, that's my opinion

I'm not worried about the fields going unpicked, prices should rise if they have to

people act like that is the only job that illegals do and maybe this is where people are ignorant since it might not effect them as much but they take good skilled tradesman jobs too and I mean like a quarter or half or more in certain things. Only good will come from the removal of illegal aliens from this country for the poor and working class, they are the ones hurt the most by these policies.

What was it that should happen to government officials who use private servers for official communication about national security matters and get hacked, again?

Does it matter whether it was Hillary Clinton or Mike Pence?

Did Pence have any classified material on private email server or destroy evidence after being ordered to preserve it? Equating Hillary's responsibilities as a the Secretary of State to the Governor of Indiana is a false equivalence to begin with but what Hillary did was criminal and what Pence did is not. FWIW I do not think Pence is particularly trustworthy and he wasn't my choice for VP, he was the party 'unifying' pick that was forced on Trump. He might of had to do that to have won but you much rather have a real ally in that spot rather than a potential backstabber, just remember that getting rid of Trump gets you President Pence.

If you'd have asked me to elaborate, I could've mentioned other occupations

I have no problem with a bad corporation going under; but there's still the problem of wages vs costs of living, unless mass deportation solves the issue.

Clinton was an administrator at State, and Pence was the executive of Indiana. Governors have access to lots of sensitive information that relates to their state, and Pence discussed some of that on his private email account.

Not a private server; I think I got that part wrong in my first post, but it doesn't make much difference. It could be easier or more difficult to hack AOL than a private server, depending entirely on how it was set up.

There's no evidence that email relevant to the investigation was destroyed. Of course, it's impossible to prove conclusively that it wasn't, but that isn't a reasonable standard for continuing to make the claim.

Brutal ugliness or merely total insensitivity to the humanity of migrants? You decide.
